Back when the Disney Channel or in my case the Family Channel was relevant, it had good quality shows like Smart Guy.
Smart Guy was basically a good show. It was about a melanated family adventuring in day to day life. They were motherless, fathered by a single dad and "siblinged" by a "sis", 2 bros and that invasive neighbor.
The show did not just revolve around the smart guy who was the youngest of the show, the show revolved around everyone. It was a positive show. But a guess Disney or the hidden hand didn't like this positive light melanated show, so they basically can'd the show after 2 years. Then they replaced it with hash that we have now that can't even compare to smart guy. 2-3 seasons of Smart Guy outweighs any of the redundant Disney shows that they have had in the last 15 years.
