atassamon25 April 2024
Kudos to the directer Wasuthep to deliver this good for 1st movie after a few hit series such as Gifted, Good old days etc.

This year Thai movie comin' back to top chart in Thailand.

. Bright and Yaya chip their all in for the role. Watch out Mama Benz for really steal the scene. Salute for using Pattaya in another vibe to be location. People lives day by day out there with the best and mess scenery. Watching local movie when you visit Thailand and experience the luxury vibe of their Cinemas is also recommend. Eng sub available. Bright & Yaya interfans wait a bit they may come near you after.

Beautiful Love,Take a deep breath and move on.
whiteroom-6552927 April 2024
The chemistry of the actors makes us believe in Bo and Im's love, believing that they will get through the harsh days amidst the violence. There is still goodness in people. And Bo is like an amnesiac angel who comes to help those lost people. The colors and backdrop make Pattaya look interesting. Bo is the color from the dullest to the brightest. Yaya is a very complete Im. The role of Jae Wan is a person who is greedy and takes advantage without kindness. In the society that we see in general Song Na Na Thong Very touching, very appropriate for the karaoke that Bo gave to Im. This is one very impressive movie.

Unfiltered Love: Redefining Thai Cinema
Aleenass1 May 2024
A romantic drama that is so fierce, so real, and so weighty, pushing up the bar of Thai movies by a notch. It's a GMMTV creation that takes a daring step to break from the mold.

Bright Vachirawitproved himself as a lead actor with onscreen bad boy image. Yaya Urassaya is undoubtedly a leading actress.

I like Bright's performance from the 1stscene. I believe he was truly "Ai Bo," who is romantic, cute, annoying, playful and alsodark, savage, raw. His performance "hits the mark." Next year, I believe "Bright Vachirawit" must appear on the roster of Suphannahong(National Film Awards) Best Actor contenders for sure.

The Global Chemistry : Perfect Match Bright and Yaya
vilaijay28 April 2024
Love the content of this movie. It is so romantic and drama base on true story in Thailand.

The chemistry of Bright and Yaya is so so so amazing.

I cry so hard for this.

The director made it perfect in Thai culture.

I am very very surprise on Bright' s acting. I hope that he will be receive the great opportunity from over aboard.

I also love the other actors, they are such talented.

The costume is perfect. Bright and Yaya are still surreal even in normal dress.

Finally, I would like to invite everyone to see this movie and you will in love with them as well as realize that the life is everything.

I saw it in hua hin with only a few viewers ! I really wonder why this film is not visited by thousands of people! Is it the Thai prices ? Maybe hear say doesn't work ? But I suggest everyone to see the story of Bo and Im !

Also don't forget to bring a lot of tissues !!!

I'm not really an emotional person when watching films but this film grabbed me by the bones !

Go see it.

Profound, thought provoking, Wong Kar-Wai inspired, the movie will worm into your heart.
PrinceVachi1 May 2024
"Love You To Debt" At first, I thought it was a teenage romcom with forced laughs. Not at all. It's a drama about Thai society viewed through an improbable love between a debtor & debt collector. The movie is a remake of Korean "Man In Love". There are many beautiful scenes, some with influences of Hong Kong movies. Wong Kar-Wai provides inspiration for several scenes.

The movie is more profound than anticipated, giving you good food for thought, entertainment, philosophical perspective on life partnership, or even as a cautionary tale on what not to do in life. In the end, it worms its way to my heart. After watching, it'd be best to be neither a debtor or a lender. And if you are in love, hope the two will make each others' lives better.

Brave, Uncompromising, Powerful. A Must Watch!
dramaluvrkvc1 May 2024
It's good, so much better than expected. It's a pleasure to watch. I love it, and I really appreciate how brave it is in many ways from the idea from start to finish (but won't spoil it).

The movie tells the story of the poor, debt collectors, informal debts, and difficult lives revolving around debt. It reflectsThai society full of informal debtors, but create interesting characters, especially the male protagonist. This makes the first part both hilarious and cute.

We get to see Yaya in gloomy mode. A young woman who has to balance a life that is rougher than the waves of Pattayasea. The more you watch, the more you are spellbound and invested in the life of the ML.

The film shows the lives and hardships of people beset by assorted obstacles trying to make a living. Starting life with negative capital, life choices are limited (or almost none), enveloped by shackles that are hard to shake off, including debt, debt, and debt.

I really like how the movie takes the story of 'money' and expands it to focus on the central themes of the story (and of life). It is intertwined with love, hope for a better life, boyfriend-girlfriend, parent-child, and sibling relationships. This movie invites us to look at these through the lens of 'money.'

The movie doesn't compromise or be kind to us. It drags us through the ups and downs of the characters, as we sit tense in our seats, and our hearts drop again and again. Tears emerge multiple times.

This is the story of many people who served us at the check-out counter, serve us food, open the door, answer service calls, mop floors, work at the office next door, sharing a ride on a passenger van or stand next to us on a BTS SkyTrain ride. Stress, difficulty in finding economic opportunities, and a life of having to make money to pay off debt, especially informal debt.

I'm glad there is a Thai movie telling this story. I want the movie to be watched by many. If it's not about the livesof middle-class people, then certainly middle-lower class. So it may not be exactly the target group that will walk into a movie theater. But because of that, it is even more interesting to watch.

It is a drama film based on the truth in Thai society. The main actors performed beautifully. The dialogue, I must say, is so real. Captures my heart. Let's go and watch it. For me, the movie is ss much more intense than the trailer, title, poster, and graphics might suggest.

People who like powerful stuff should not miss it.

Thai movies are now very diverse. And this is another flavor that you don't want to miss. I'm so glad I watched it.

Brilliant acting by lead - Not your typical Romantic Cinderella story
rashanjuk30 May 2024
Excellent performance by the lead Bright & Yaya. They both portrayed the intensity of the role as professional. The chemistry during romance is added advantage. All positive reviews by the film critics for them is Worth It. It allowed Bright as an actor to demonstrate dynamic of the role & range, from his previous romantic roles. Yaya shines & makes you awe, that's why she's one the Top actress. Other supporting casts in parallel brings their brilliance accordingly.

This is not your typical teen romantic over budget, branded clothes/ tourism location type of movie. The quality of the direction in understanding the theme & not deviating from it is observed.

Overall, brilliant Thailand adaptation of the hit movie.

This is the GMMTV's best remake!

Not only about love story, this movie can highlight social issue, how difficult it is for people from lower classes to improve their level.

The cinematography, acting, script, song, everything perfect.

I'M BAWLING SO HARD LISTENING BO'S SINGING FOR IMM. He's raw, precious, and genuine. I'm going to gmmtv's youtube to listen Bo's singing again. Bright is really versatile actor, he makes you forget his last character (Thyme from F4). So different from Thyme, he has no power here, I'm sad.

I want to see BoImm again. I want longer version. Maybe 10 episode will be enough.

Bright Yaya should win best couple of the year, they really played their character so well.

Definitely a 'Movie of the Year.' Every element is good. Exceeds expectation in every way
aonlinesan1 May 2024
The movie promo had me expecting a chill, refreshing shake, but what I got was a deep, intense shot of black coffee. From the get-go, this film grabs you and doesn't let go, thanks in no small part to the magnetic lead duo.

This Thai flick totally blew me away, and I'm already gearing up for a second and third watch. Bright Vachirawit as Bo gives off major hero gangster vibes. And Yaya as Im? Super relatable and down-to-earth. It's cool to see how the film doesn't just toss aside the supporting characters. Everyone gets their moment, making the whole journey feel complete and meaningful.

The movie kicks off with a mix of humor, romance, and some slick, Andy Lau-style action that makes both Bright look uber cool. But as the story unfolds, the tone shifts to a grittier vibe, pulling you deep into the struggles and crises faced by the characters because of their debt-ridden lives.

The script is super tight-every character holds their own, no one's just there to fill space. And get this: the film lets Bright show off a rebellious side that's so real, it's hard to believe he'd dare go there, considering his huge fanbase. Also, shoutout to Benz Pornchita for bringing unexpected laughs to the mix.

The romance is super authentic, showing the less glamorous side of love in a cramped apartment, discussing life's hard knocks. And while our leads look like they've walked off a fashion shoot, their struggles are something anyone dealing with debts will get. The movie doesn't preach; it just shows life from different angles, letting you get into the heads of everyone from bank workers to debt collectors.

The film dives into the heavy stuff too-like the societal and family pressures that make the debt cycle even worse. It shows how deep-rooted issues in Thai society keep people trapped in these cycles. The movie ends up being a powerful call to think about not just the debtors but also the creditors.

In short, this movie is a total gem that sticks with you long after you've left the theater. It's the kind of film you should definitely drag your folks to see because it lays bare the financial pressures younger folks face today. Overall, this flick is a standout, not just entertaining but also making you think and feel-a real knockout and a must-watch for the year.

For bad comments that only give 1 point, you should ignore them
shipanusara31 May 2024
It is another good Thai movie that is memorable. Even though the movie trailer is presented like a romantic comedy, But when you go see the movie Actually, it's a touching movie and gives many insights into life. And you will receive various quotes The chapter is well presented. The actors play off each other well. Especially the performances of Yaya and Bright. It's hard to believe that they're performing together for the first time. Bright has changed its role a lot. For fans who adore him, you should not miss this at all.

For bad comments that only give 1 point, you should ignore them. Because that is the score of personal hate. For me, this film is definitely worth watching. You won't waste your time for watching. Even sometimes The story may be a bit slow. But overall I feel satisfied.

Don't let the poster cover fool you.
kengjinki31 May 2024
Cover of movie It seems like an easy movie to watch. But in reality, the content of the movie is very heavy. The characters' lives are painful. Every character has a different karma. The latter tells the story of those characters in a comedy format, but it's extremely cruel. I cried so hard at the end.

The characters is too challenging to Bright Vachirawit but he holds that role too smooth and smart everyone easily to fall in love with his character.

Yaya so beautiful within her bare face even she always has sadly face she still beautiful .

So please don't let the posters cover fool you.

Let's watch by yourself.

Don't let the trailer mislead you. It's just 10% of the whole story. The movie is far better than expected.
kazhakacha31 May 2024
Even after leaving the cinema, I'm still immersed in the movie. After watching it to the end, what's clear is Bright's remarkable development as an actor. He excels in every role, from action-packed tough guy to warm-hearted bad boy, from comedic mischief-maker to emotionally charged dramatic character. His portrayal of the regret from making wrong choices that lead to the destruction of the life of someone he loves is particularly poignant. As for Yaya, she delivers a role that truly tears apart from her own identity, showcasing the immense pressure of having to clear her father's debts.

Bright and Yaya have amazing chemistry; their courtship scenes are both adorable and genuinely funny. Another highlight is seeing Benz Ponchita conflict with Bright-absolutely fantastic! Also, Big D Gerrard, I impresses with his portrayal of a mischievous villain, providing plenty of comic relief.

The movie reflects the harsh realities of life in Pattaya, from the Struggling under the burden of debt. By the second half, it really tugs at the viewers' emotions, immersing them fully into the characters' struggles. It's a shame that some early romance scenes were cut, and the editing should be tighter in the middle, but overall, it's a complete cinematic experience. This movie captures the audience's attention from start to finish. I can't wait to watch it again.

Love you to debt
benzc-4121228 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is both fun, dark, romantic, and very down-to-earth, complete with debt collectors flirting with debtors. The actors have great chemistry together. The movie talks about social inequality and debt very well. I want many to see it. In the movie, we also see a very crazy debt collection that makes me want to watch it. There are many scenes that are very stressful. I like the scene in the casino the most. It's very heart-wrenching. The ending ended in a very twisted way. The lead actors to the supporting actors acted well as if the characters were truly living. I was so into it that even after the movie ended I was still crying. When I got home I still couldn't get the movie out of my head.

Enchanting & thought provoking, a showcase of complexity of love and debt in a Thai context
lightbb27 April 2024
"In debt, you must pay back, but in love, there's no need to return the heart."

Han Dong-Wook's 2014 Korean film "Man in Love," gets remade into Taiwanese (2021) and Thai versions, the latter titled "Love You To Debt" in 2024.

The narrative consistently follows a debt collector who falls for a debtor struggling to care for her terminally ill father while trying to settle her debts. This leads to an unusual proposition: dates in exchange for debt reduction. Their relationship, sparked by financial necessity, slowly blooms into genuine affection.

Directed by Wa-Wasuthep Ketpetch, known for his work on the Thai teen series "The Gifted," this film marks his directorial debut. The screenplay, crafted by Malila and Onthakarn, features Bright-Vachirawit Chivaaree and Yaya-Urassaya Sperbund in leading roles.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Pattaya, the film captures the essence of this bustling tourist hub and its hidden, sleepless underworld. Despite its serious undertones about debt, the Thai adaptation infuses the story with a distinctive local flavor, blending comedy, action, and charming dating scenes. However, as the narrative deepens, the weight of debt brings about profound struggles, casting a shadow over the blossoming romance.

Bright-Vachirawit, portraying the protagonist, brings depth to his role as a lovesick debt collector. His performance is a seamless blend of intensity and vulnerability, particularly in his interactions with Yaya-Urassaya's character, Im. Their chemistry transforms every scene they share into a vivid depiction of conflicted emotions-joy in love contrasted with the harsh realities of their lives.

In a remarkable commitment to authenticity, Bright performed all his stunts, bearing both the physical and emotional weight of his character. His transformation into the scarred, tattooed Bo involved an extensive makeup process, adding layers to his portrayal of a man navigating the harsh world of debt collection while harboring a tender love.

Yaya Urassaya's portrayal of Im reflects a woman burdened yet resilient, adapting her vocal tones and demeanor to authentically convey a spectrum of emotions. This nuanced performance ensures that viewers feel the weight of her struggles and the strength of her spirit.

The film's aesthetic, from the vivid Hawaiian shirts worn by Bo to Im's modest flea market attire, visually represents their worlds and personalities, mirroring Pattaya's colorful landscape.

"Love You to Debt" is not just a film but a cultural dialogue tailored to resonate with Thai audiences, offering a fresh perspective on familiar themes of love and financial hardship. Wasuthep and his team have skillfully adapted the original story's essence to engage local viewers, making it a reflective and entertaining exploration of life's burdens and beauties.

Recommended.

First of all, I have to give massive praises for the great scripts, pictures and also solid performance and chemistry from both Yaya and Bright. The plot made it totally worth watching and will absolutely make you feel like rollercoaster ride. You will be fluttered when it comes in romantic scenes and laughing out loud in comedy scenes but also bursting into tears in the dramatic scenes. Last thing, I would love to mentioned that is the movie's soundtrack especially track from Bright which is so good in the way he expressed his emotions. It suits his deep voice and this movies. . I highly recommend this movie for anyone who loves a feel-good romantic movie.

The male lead named Bo was very good, the lead role was Bright, who did an extremely good job. Wow, the female lead played by Yaya was amazing as well. The movie is not boring at all. And as we continue to watch it, the intensity of the story will become more and more intense in a way that was completely unexpected. It is true that people have to go into debt. Sometimes it is debt that is not created but is unavoidable. And there is a peak point at the end of the story that cannot be missed. I also want to thank the actors who played very well.

The movie is very good, has all the emotions, comedy, drama, suspense, romance, and action.
zchzmhb31 May 2024
All actors performed very well. This movie in particular is considered a role reversal and challenge for bright. But he did a great job. He really is a character. This movie should win an award. Because this movie gives many ideas about living life. To see or hear stories that we never knew before that there were people who had this much hardship. And this movie does an excellent job of presenting the soft power of Thailand. This movie, when you go see it, is definitely not a waste of time. You will experience a film that is as honest and true to life as there is. This movie is bold. Especially in action scenes, Bright (Bo) doesn't use a stuntman. He shows real punches, real hurts. In almost every scene he always gets results. He put a lot of effort into this movie.

Warning: Spoilers
This Thai movie is good for people fighting of life and need encouragement.

On the days when life is dark and dull Bright acted as Bo with charm. And the action scenes were very cool. As for Yaya, she played the sad role that impressed the audience the most.

The movie has the charm of telling the story of the debt of ordinary people in a clear picture. That life doesn't have many options. What troubleshooting methods are used? If you were in the same situation as Bo and Im, what would you do?

If life is so dark that you don't know where to go, try staying still and breathing.

Watch them and you will fall completely in love with them.
