I had just seen Blow before I saw these series. In the beginning of the first episode, I thought that Boston George was too glorified by his own romantic speech, busted up drug addict and that the movie had to be a one of those Hollywood Biography lies to cash out on, like anything else in this business. But these series covers how it was, in his own words and the people he met on his way, his girfriend he met while in jail and how he became famous for the world record of cocaine bust in 1985, and the Book and movie Blow. It's great to see Johnny Depp popping up in those documentaries like Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan ( 2020 ), and Gonzo ( 2008 ) about Hunter S Thomson. He actually talks about how he sees Boston George on the level as Dylan, Hunter and Keurac. He has been very genourus towards some of those legends he has met. And watching this today made an impact on me. Great series.
This is a beautiful testament to what kind of philosophies and what drives an outlaw like George after 70 years of living. It was just great to see the DEA agents and their part of the story to. Great Stuff! Why is this not more popular? First review. I streamed it on soap2day.id .
