- whenever Pablo is alone with his father, or at home, can be quite intense.
- the last fight scene between a boy and his father can be quite intense because of how brutally the father beats him and it is all seen on screen.
- some boys play a game on the railroad tracks where they dive in front of a moving train to grab an object, usually a bottle. it's intense because the train is moving very fast and is close to hitting them multiple times.
- the very end scene where a boy describes what his father would do to him to abuse him is pretty emotional.
