Big Spender (2003 TV Movie)

brilliant and emotional
26 August 2004
i caught this film last week on sky and i have to say it brought a tear to my eye, Casper was brilliant. the film is set basically on a racehorse retirement farm, and its the story of a racehorse called big spender, it shows the dedication of the local prison inmates to care for these horses and Eddie (Casper) and the horse named big spender have a special kind of relationship where each relies on the other to survive and survive they do.Eddie gets his life sorted and in doing so gets his parole so that he can care for his son and also a job in the bargain at a horse stables. Big spender the horse may be a failed racehorse but he reemerges as a quality show jumping horse. its brilliant and i think could bring a tear to the hardest of hearts.

Danger Beneath the Sea (2001 TV Movie)

first and hooked
31 July 2004
this was the first film i actually caught Casper in and from the first moment i was hooked on him, he has many strengths as a actor, i am gradually collecting more and more of his films, and just hope he continues the great work he is doing. i feel that Casper has the unique talent to show both a commanding and forceful role and that of the more sensitive role all in the same film. the film i felt showed how easy it could be for a situation as the one in the film, to happen, and how easy it is for things in real life to scare people when there is no need to be scared, but to look at things in a calm and sensible way, and work the best way to find a way out with out taking actions that could cost lives.
