Welcome to Collinwood (2002)
Cracked me up
I participate in a Filmmaker's Symposium, and this film was shown after we had already seen a not so great film and participated in a 40 minute discussion. Even though it was incredibly late and we were weary, the entire audience really enjoyed it.
Personally I thought the film was hilarious in all the right spots, and I loved the quirky cast of characters. They really grow on you in the film.

Good Acting and Direction, but in poor taste
I saw this film in the same class, and I really didn't care for it. From a technical standpoint, I think the film was quite good - the acting and the direction was great -- as was the use of roto-animation.
I'm just writing this review to warn people that this film was somewhat vulgar, so don't go see it on a date.

Loved this movie
I had the pleasure of seeing this movie in a Filmmakers Symposium long before it was released. I thought the performances were excellent in this film. I thought Sean Connery and Rob Brown were phenomenal together. Even though Busta Rhymes only had a small part, I loved him in it, and I thought Anna Paquin was great as well.
The story itself was wonderful. It really showed the kind of positive impact we can each have on others. It was a beautiful film.
