I enjoyed very much this excursion through the Loire Valley: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.
THere are some interesting aspects of this region: the castles of the Loire Valley ( the "Parc des mini-châteraux of Amboise-44 replicas of the most famous castles-, Suzanne Cros and the Renaissance gardens of Villandry-her guesthouse and the beautiful panorama of the gardens-,the balloonist Federico Miceli and the hot air balloon flight -the Chenonceau Castle-), the Venetian ball at the castle off Cheverny (the choreographer Nadine and the rehearsal of of the minuet dances, the spectacle in the night), the medieval spectacle at Amboise (the reconstitution of the battle of Marignan, Michael and the Medieval jousts, the comedian Geoffroy as the King Francis), the canoeing through the natural reserve of the Loire Valley ( the nature guide Yvan Thibaud, the beavers), the underground inhabited spaces (the "troglophyle" Patrick Edgar Rosa, the troglodyte hotel at Rocheminier, the zoo of Doué-la-Fontaine- the ornithologist Sylvanie and the birds in the cave spaces) and the life at the castle of Chambord ( the arrival of the cleaning lady Nathalie at 6.30 am., the opening of the castle at 9.00 am., the private visit of 200 antique cars collectors, the steward Frédéric and the management of private and public visits, the guide Lisa Marie and the discovery of the hidden places of the castle).
I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôe Pitorin with the marchioness Constance de Vibraye, with her son Maxilien and withe marquis Charles-Antoine de Vibraye, with Laurent Chevallier (the pack of hounds), with the plastic artist Michel Gressier at Amboise, with Patrick Fournier at Tours, with the captain Robin Delaporte, with the ceramist Karin Chopin-Lollierou and Christophe and Jacky Roulleau, with the esquire Pauline Van Landeghem at thye Cadre Noir de Saumur, with the cinematographer Laurent Charbomnnier at Chambord and with the fishermen Alex Fagat and Gilles Mechin at La Possonnière; nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
