In a Heartbeat (2000–2001)
Just like the rest of you, I ask "Why"?
30 May 2004
I was trying to figure out why Disney cancelled this show. At first I thought maybe they didn't want anymore Canadian produced shows.(No offense Canada. I love Montreal.) But that didn't make sense. Ratings? Yeah like that's a factor. If Disney cancelled shows based on ratings Dave the Barbarian would be gone by now along with Lizzie McGuire. So I thought and thought. Then it hit me. This show is a drama. All the shows they have now are comedies. So maybe they didn't want to loose there target audience with Dawson's Creek type stuff(I know there are better dramas than DC but I'm just trying to make a point). Let's face it. Disney's programming has gone down hill. After Jett Jackson and So Weird left, that was it. All the shows are crappy. Even the Proud Family is loosing luster. Disney made a BIG mistake in cancelling this show. At least this one had realism. They need better programming.

Passions (1999–2008)
OK, OK, I understand. However......
12 November 2003
I've been watching Passions since 2000. Also, I've been looking over all these comments. I agree with you guys on a couple of levels. The story lines definitely move way to slow. They need to expose Eve's past and soon. Keeping Luis and Sheridan apart and bringing them back together is getting old, too. They need to make up their minds of what they want to do with these two instead of going back and forth. And another thing, where's Jessica and Simone? We haven't heard from them in ages.

Anyway, why does it seem like some the characters don't work? The older adults do, of course. But how long has it been since we've seen Beth at the Book Cafe? And how is Theresa able to provide for Little Ethan? Is she mooching off her mom?

Speaking of Theresa, she needs to get a life. Her obsession for Ethan, is rounding the corner of stocking.

When they brought in the "Fox loves Whitney" thing, I thought that was retarded. But now I think that could actually work. Chad doesn't need Whitney.

What's the deal with multiple actors for one role?(i.e. 3 Jessicas, 4 Kays)

Now on to my "However" part. I personally don't think the acting is that bad. Liza Huber(Gwen), Amelia Marshall(Liz), Eric Martsolf (Ethan), Kathleen Noone(Mrs. Wallace), Juliet Mills(Tabitha), James Hyde(Sam), and Galen Gering(Luis) are the best actors on the show.

The storylines (if you look past the droning) are pretty cool. They're different from what we normally see on TV. I think that's why people don't like. It's something new that's never been done before and they're not use to it. It will probably take a while to catch on.

In conclusion, Passions is entertaining to watch, with lots of drama and comedy unlike what you'd normally see on a soap opera.

Justin and Kelly ROCK!!!
22 June 2003
I figured it would be best to put in my review of the movie ASAP, before people start bashing it which most likely will happen due to obvious reasons. Anyways, I personally am a fan of Justin and Kelly. I thought that the movie was awesome. I kept rooting for the two of them to get together throughout the whole movie. I thought it was cool how they came up with a cast of fresh, young, talented people. I'm definitely getting this when it comes out on video. I recommend it to those who like musicals and American Idol. Take it from me--you won't be disapointed.

Much Ado About Whatever (2001–2002)
I thought it would suck, but I guess not.
10 May 2002
I thought this would be a stupid show. Something like that terrible "Undressed" show, which by the way, MTV needs to cancel. But, to my surprise, it's actually pretty cool, once I gave it a chance. It was very funny, entertaining, and it reminded me of "Undergrads"(an MTV cartoon cancelled for no reason). In conclusion, don't knock a show until you've seen it.

Da Mob (2001–2002)
Pretty Fly for White Guys
30 January 2002
This cartoon is mad funny. Just think of the Beastie Boys, except one is a German guy obsessed with his looks, one is a pleasantly plump beat boxer, and the other is just...well...named Rooster(I don't know why)and he's the leader of the pack. This show has cool music and hilarious situations. And you get a crash course in rap lingo. Not to mention that this showcases white rappers. You don't see that too often.
