Shot in two days.
Only three actors that starred in the short film returned for the full-length movie; Terrance Zdunich returned to reprise his role as Graverobber, J. LaRose moved from the role of Pavi Largo to a news reporter and Melissa Panton who moved from the role of a Zytrate addict to a support group member.
It was rumored that the short film was going to be a special feature on the DVD release of the full-length movie (released in January 2009), but the short film was not included in the features of either the DVD or the Blu-Ray. It remains unreleased.
Shawnee Smith and J. LaRose appeared in the short film because it took place so closely with the filming of Saw III (2006). Both were shot in Toronto, Ontario.
