ABC's Desperate Housewives reeled in its largest audience in six weeks, while Grey's Anatomy hit a season high to push ABC to an easy victory on another busy Sunday in primetime. The second half of CBS' killer-storm miniseries Category 7: The End of the World didn't pack quite the same punch as the first half did last Sunday, but it still improved markedly on the eye network's showing this season in adults 18-49 in its 9-11 p.m. movie slot. NBC didn't get much of a bounce in benching its regular Sunday night dramas for a two-hour Saturday Night Live 1980s retrospective. Housewives popped at 9 p.m. to finish the night with an average of 26.5 million viewers and an 11.1 rating/24 share in the adults 18-49 demographic. Grey's Anatomy (20.7 million, 9.1/21) rose to season-high ratings in the 10 p.m. hour, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research.
