Gary Oldman suffered an eye injury on the set after one day at the rehearsal space (a factory) he and Tim Roth were throwing milk bottles around and suddenly Roth threw it up and it hit a fluorescent lighting strip which hit Gary.
Made for British TV, the film was also released in cinemas in some countries and at festivals.

Gary Oldman and Alfred Molina went on to portray real-life gay lovers in 1987's "Prick Up Your Ears", a biographical drama based on the tumultuous relationship of playwright Joe Orton (Oldman) and his partner, actor, writer and collagist Kenneth Halliwell (Molina.)
