After seeing a film dealing with the education of deaf mutes, Gabriella was so moved she decided to become a teacher of elocution. To help prepare for her chosen profession she enrolled in courses at the Central School of Speech and Drama, where she was spotted by an agent while performing in a class production in 1961. Accepting an offer from the Citizen's Theatre of Glasgow, a week before departing for Scotland Gabriella "gate-crashed" an audition for a new stage play, John Mortimer's "Two Stars for Comfort", starring Trevor Howard. The play was a hit and ran for nine months in London's West End. Producer Samuel Bronston attended a performance and offered Gabriella a small role in his upcoming epic The Fall of the Roman Empire (1964). Gabriella went on to appear in several more films & popular television series, including the title role in the sci-fi cult classic Unearthly Stranger (1963), as a widowed expatriate opposite Patrick McGoohan in an episode of Secret Agent (1964), one of the conspiratorial McTarry daughters in the Bond-spoof extravaganza Casino Royale (1967), in the Henry Hathaway African adventure The Last Safari (1967), and the female lead in the legendary and little-seen experimental feature Herostratus (1967) by Don Levy. Gabriella left films in the 1970s and relocated to Africa, where she and her South African husband ran a safari lodge for several years before she eventually returned to London to run her own production company.

Her first film appearances were in the 8mm glamour/girlie films of George Harrison Marks in the late 1960s. These early softcore films included the bizarre "Hot Teddy" in which Sue has sex with a large cuddly teddy bear, and "First You See It", in which Sue is a naked fantasy woman who appears and disappears in the hero's bathroom, bedroom, dining room, etc., while "Coitus - An Experience in Motion and Emotion", adopts a pseudo-sex-education approach in showing Sue and a male partner indulging in a variety of sexual positions, all of which are inter-cut with title cards offering advice to 'young married couples'. The 8mm films led to a role in Marks' feature film The Nine Ages of Nakedness (1969) and other sex film roles, including The Yes Girls (1971) (her only lead role) and Bizarre (1970). She was also an extra in Anne of the Thousand Days (1969) and has a 'blink and you'll miss her' appearance in Lindsay Shonteff's film Harry and the Hookers (1970) - billed as 'Suzy Bond' - as a woman who appears to have gone shopping in her underwear. Sue appeared in The Benny Hill Show (1969) for three years between 1970 and 1973, making her one of the longest-serving female cast members of the pre-Hill's Angels era.
In the mid-seventies Sue began to get offered more character roles in sitcoms. She claimed to Titbits magazine in 1975 that her ambitions at the time were to be a Bond girl in a James Bond film and appear in Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters. Neither transpired, although in the same year she did appear in a Bradford theatre production of Jack and the Beanstalk alongside Charlie Drake.
Alongside her acting Sue also had a second career as a singer, mainly on the club circuit of northern England. Her last acting credit was in the short-lived revival of Mind Your Language (1977) in 1986, although she was still performing as a singer on the cabaret circuit in the early 1990s. - Writer

Christopher Adam Painter was born and raised in Ayelsbury, England. From 12, Chris started Tae Kwon Do and at 15 be was one of the best fighters in Europe winner multiple gold medals in sparring around the world. It was shortly after getting my black belt that he discovered an interest in dancing & performing, attending regular classes at the Kercher School of dance. From the discipline learnt from Tae Kwon Do he was focused in classes and managed to gain a place at Brian Roger's Performing Arts College which is one of the top Performing arts colleges in the world. He trained relentlessly for 3 years on the dance theatre course whilst picking up extra classes during the day as well as attending regular classes at South Essex Gymnastics twice a week and classes in London on the weekends. This work ethic meant that he became one of the few in his year to get a job straight out of college. In May he started life as a full time professional performer for Princess Cruises as a dancer/singer. He was flown to Santa Clarita LA where he was given 8 days to learn six full stage shows, it was tough, but with the shows learnt 8 days later he flew round the world to join the Sapphire Princess and then the Diamond after. After this he went on to dance and act in one of France's top cabaret shows with Sinan Bertrand (French musical theatre star). Along side dancing and acting he had the opportunity to show his acrobatic ability as well as his stage weapon work. He was also fortunate enough to be picked to learn to do wire work in the show. It was a great job but this journey started in a PHA production of Aladdin where he landed the role of the quick witted and charismatic Genie of the Lamp. He has now started training to join the JISC stunt register as well as working towards getting into acting and live stunt shows.- Actor
