A wonderfully bonkers and yet flawed title from 2010 sees release on the Nintendo Switch. Whilst technically unimpressive, the game draws you in almost on sheer curiosity alone with its premise and execution. In my eyes definitely deserves the cult classic title it holds in the industry.
I do have a personal history with Deadly Premonition, back in 2010 I played it on Xbox 360 and was about eight hours into the game when my save file corrupted / red rings of death occurred. As I had made such progress, I couldn’t bring myself to restart and so it lay dormant for about five years. Then, around four years ago I snapped it up in a steam sale and, although I dipped in and out, it always felt too fresh in the memory and that play-through never gained traction (We all know about the Steam sale vortex of the forgotten). Finally, after receiving...

Deadly Premonition: The Board Game is based upon the memorably offbeat characters, creepy locations and unsettling events that unfold in the 2007 cult classic videogame Deadly Premonition, from acclaimed game developer Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro. The board game is created and devised as a passion project by Samuel Elphick and Daniel Osuna Perez, two members of the Rising Star Games team, and has Swery’s full blessing:

The final character profile for the horror/action Xbox 360 exclusive Deadly Premonition landed in our inbox today, and in anticipation of the game's February 23rd release, here's a look at Thomas MacLaine, another long-time Greenvale resident who knows a lot about the townspeople (and their secrets).
This latest profile introduces us to Thomas MacLaine, assistant to Sheriff George Woodman. Thomas was born in Greenvale and has lived there all his life, often helping out his older sister Carol MacLaine at her bar, The Galaxy of Terror. MacLaine is a very perceptive, gentle, and quiet person; and it’s while speaking with him that Agent Morgan learns that Thomas is particularly distraught over 18-year-old Anna Graham’s brutal murder as he gets overwrought with emotion while talking about her. But does Thomas know more than he is sharing? Time is running short, and the locals hinder York’s work with their eccentric behavior,...

The horror/action Xbox 360 exclusive game Deadly Premonition hits the market on February 23rd, and we've got a look at another character profile: museum curator and murder suspect Diane Ames.
Watch the story behind the Red Seed Murders unravel further in the rural town of Greenvale. The trailer released today focuses on Diane Ames, who manages the collections of the small Greenvale Museum, which specializes in paintings and art focused on forest life. She is a successful woman who is very aggressive with men so when Agent York Morgan confronts her, she doesn’t take any crap and certainly does not appreciate being accused of playing a role in the horrendous murder of 18-year-old Anna Graham. But if she didn’t do it, who did?
