Oscar Paul Trepanier was born in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada, and
raised in the quiet beach town of Kincardine, Ontario. After high
school, and a few years studying and working in electronic/mechanical
engineering in Toronto, Canada, Oscar set off traveling for a one and a
half year around the world. He was 'discovered' getting off the Bondai
Beach bus in Syney, Australia by a Swedish photographer. The photo
campaign lead to his first commercial. It was for the German clothing
company, "Marc O' Polo" In 1995 he returned to Toronto and studied with
some of the cities top acting educators including Second City, David
Rotenberg and at the University of Toronto. Since Toronto, Oscar has
called various cities home including Milan, San Fransico, Los Angeles, and
Washington, D.C. He has been featured in dozens of commercials and ads
around the world as well as working with some of Hollywood's leading
director's and actor's in television, stage and movies. Oscar has also
done some stunt work along the way, as well as, body double duty, as
was the case when he body-doubled for the short 'Statue of Liberty
torch' scene as "Wolverine" for Hugh Jackman in Bryan Singer's,
"X-Men".
Oscar Paul Trepanier married Robin Sandra Spragens in 2004 and now resides in Washington, DC. One of the greatest joys in his life was the birth of his son, Luke, in March 2007.
