Darby Allin is the resident daredevil of All Elite Wrestling (Aew), but the self-belief required to take such dangerous risks didn’t apply to all aspects of his career evenly. It does now.
A leap of faith off a 20-foot ladder comes a lot more naturally to Allin than speaking with conviction on a microphone. Now a self-anointed “promo guy,” Allin finally believes in the full scope of his talents. It’s an exciting development for an artist who walks, skates and freefalls to the beat of his own drum. Allin challenges for the Aew World Heavyweight Championship — the company’s top prize — at Sunday’s “Double or Nothing” event, headlining a card chock-full of legends like Chris Jericho, Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson.
“At one time, when Aew first started, I probably would have thought I wasn’t ready for that,” Allin tells Et Canada. “I thought I didn...

Ken Block, who turned his action sports brand into a YouTube success story, has died. The DC Shoes founder was 55 years old.
According to Block’s rally car team, Hoonigan Racing, the cause of death was a snowmobile accident. Block had been riding with a group in Wasatch County, Utah but was alone at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Block is survived by his wife Lucy and their three children. “Ken was a visionary, a pioneer, and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband,” reads a statement from Hoonigan. “He will be incredibly missed. Please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”

Dirt biking is one of the most exciting and adrenaline-pumping sports out there. For many people, it’s the perfect way to get out and explore the great outdoors while getting a fantastic workout. And, of course, there’s the bonus of being able to show off your skills to your friends.
Dirt biking is a form of off-road motorcycle racing that takes place on natural terrains such as dirt, grass, and sand. Unlike motocross, which is held on manufactured tracks, dirt bikes allow riders to test their skills on more challenging and varied terrain.
Racing Dirt bikes requires a high level of skill and fitness, as riders must be able to handle their bikes at high speeds over rough terrain. But for those who are up for the challenge, dirt bike races provide an exhilarating way to experience the great outdoors.

If you watched the series premiere of “America’s Got Talent: Extreme” on Monday night, you probably found yourself scratching your head when you caught your first glimpse of the judges’ table. Simon Cowell was there as usual, but his cohorts Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara were all missing and replaced by WWE superstar Nikki Bella and world champion motocross driver Travis Pastrana. Don’t worry, “AGT” fans. “Extreme” is merely a spin-off series and there has been no official word about the fates of Howie, Heidi and Sofia on the main show. More information on “America’s Got Talent” Season 17, including the premiere date and judges, will be announced by NBC at a later date.
So why aren’t Howie, Heidi and Sofia judging on “AGT: Extreme”? Simply put, Simon and his fellow producers wanted to shake things up and try out new personalities who themselves come from “extreme” backgrounds.

NBC has tweaked its midseason schedule, pushing the premiere of Eurovision offshoot American Song Contest by a month, from the previously announced Monday, Feb. 21 (8-10 p.m.) to March 21. Taking over the slot is new reality series America’s Got Talent: Extreme, which made headlines last fall when a contestant was badly hurt in an on-set accident.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 3, episode 4 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired Feb. 19 on Fox.
That’s a wipe out for Tony Hawk. The skateboarding legend became the first celebrity in “Group B” to be unmasked on Season 3 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired on Wednesday night.
Hawk, who was disguised as the Elephant, performed The Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love,” and the judges said he shredded. But it wasn’t enough to survive elimination.
“Coming from a non-singing background, I’ll give myself a ‘B,'” Hawk told Variety. “I think that I felt like I was in tune for the most part, and I remembered the lyrics, which is a frightening prospect. It’s very easy to mix up verses. I went with it the way I sing it in the car.”

Nik Wallenda doesn’t want to die during ABC special “Highwire Live,” but that’s not actually why he is okay with wearing a harness — this time.
On Sunday, Wallenda and his sister Lijana will walk a 1,300 foot-long tightrope, 25-stories atop New York City’s Times Square. They’ll meet around the middle and pass each other going in opposite directions.
The wire is just 3/4” in diameter, about the size of a quarter. If all goes well, they’ll both be safely on a solid surface in about “20-30 minutes,” he said.

Southern rock and country artist Tim Montana has released a new video for his single “American Thread.” The Butte, Montana, native returned to his hometown to film the clip, which underscores the workingman vibe of the song, a mix of Zz Top crunch and Kid Rock-like bravado.
There are scenes of horsemen, construction workers, welders and cooks, all toiling in pursuit of their version of the American dream. The video also features a cameo by extreme-sports star Travis Pastrana, a nod to another famous Butte resident, the daredevil Evel Knievel.
