While Taylor Swift continues her Eras Tour overseas, Travis Kelce admitted he’s “livin’ the dream” after hanging out with Livvy Dunne and visiting the White House.
The NFL star won another Super Bowl ring this past season with the Kansas City Chiefs amid his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Swift attended multiple Chiefs games to support her boyfriend, including their thrilling Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers.
During a recent GMA interview, Kelce spoke about how life has been for him with everything going on, as he’s received much more attention than before.
Kelce shared that on a scale from “1 to 10,” he’d say he felt things for him were about a “20.”
He didn’t specifically mention Swift in the interview but shouted out Dunne, the popular and successful Lsu gymnast who’s amassed a serious social media following.

The first-ever Gotham TV Awards offered a stark contrast between the Gotham Film & Media Institute’s annual celebration of cinema. While both awards shows were founded to toast independent productions — that is, before the Gotham Awards increased their budget cap eligibility requirements in 2023 — the Gotham TV Awards felt like a strangely intimate gathering that was mostly populated by showrunners, network executives, and the Gotham TV Awards jurors, with a few actors and press sprinkled in.
Sure, it could be that it’s the first year for the awards show and thus a smaller turnout and even venue. Or perhaps the Gotham TV Awards will remain a coveted industry event, one that feels like it’s only for insiders.
The intimacy was most prominent during the Anniversary Tribute for “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” icon Mariska Hargitay. The award was presented by Hargitay’s former co-star Stephanie March, and...

Baby Reindeer, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Colin From Accounts were the top winners at the first-ever Gotham TV Awards, which took place in New York on Tuesday night.
Accepting for breakthrough limited series, the final award of the night, Baby Reindeer star and creator Richard Gadd offered a thoughtful observation about the Netflix show’s popularity and some advice for anyone going through a difficult time.
“It’s weird that a show as messed up as this has gone on to strike a chord with so many people,” Gadd said of darkly comic thriller. “I think it speaks to the fact that I think a lot of people in the world are struggling right now. I don’t know much in the way of advice, but I do know that nothing lasts forever. So if you are in a rut, just keep going. Persevere, persevere, persevere and I promise you things will get better.

Lionsgate and True Brit Entertainment will bring Ian McKellen’s The Critic to UK cinemas this September. More on the story below.
Lionsgate and True Brit have partnered up to release The Critic, director Anand Tucker’s new film, in UK cinemas, according to Deadline.
The film follows Ian McKellen’s ruthless theatre critic and the cast also includes Gemma Arteron, Mark Strong, Alfred Enoch, Romola Garai and Lesley Manville. The script was penned by Patrick Marber, based on Anthony Quinn’s novel.
Screen Daily reported in early 2024 that The Critic would be True Brit Entertainment’s first UK film release as a distributor, but it seems that the company has now joined forces with Lionsgate for The Critic’s release.
The Critic had its world premiere at Toronto Film Festival in 2023, where it received mixed reviews (though McKellen’s performance was well received).

Apple TV’s flagship series “The Morning Show” returned last fall with its third season and with it comes the show’s best cast to date. Nicole Beharie, Jon Hamm, Tig Notaro, and Stephen Fry all joined the cast while mainstays Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup all turned in their best work yet.
However, it’s the show’s supporting players, who have been here since day one, that makes the series so good. Karen Pittman is a prime example of that. The series depicts the behind-the-scenes drama of a US morning TV show and Pittman plays Mia Jordan, a key producer of said show. Pittman has always been an actress who possesses a powerful screen presence and that is true here, too. She captivates audiences (and the other actors) but also smartly sews vulnerability into a character who has some power in the show.

“The Crown” can only play a pair of Queens at the Emmys.
Emmy winner Olivia Colman, who portrayed Queen Elizabeth in the series finale episode of Netflix’s monarchy drama, is not eligible to submit in the guest drama actress race by only a few seconds. However, her co-star Claire Foy, who also portrays Her Majesty in her younger years and appears in the same episode, is eligible and will be the sole guest submission for the series, angling for her second win in the category.
The “Sleep, Dearie Sleep,” written by Peter Morgan and directed by Stephen Daldry, clocks in at a robust 72 minutes, the longest of any episode across its six seasons. In the series’ final moments, Imelda Staunton’s Elizabeth looks back on the highs and lows of her reign as she grapples with the idea of handing the crown to Charles. Her younger self appears to...

If you’re not caught up on your peak TV viewing, consider this your spoiler warning. Four months have passed since Jennifer Coolidge bagged her second consecutive Emmy for “The White Lotus” and thus became the eighth drama or comedy series regular honored by the TV academy for a season in which her character died. Emmy nominations of this kind have become quite common in recent years, and it’s possible that over 15% of the 2024 lead and supporting continuing series contenders will be added to the list.
The current consensus among more than 2,400 Gold Derby users is that five continuing series performers whose characters perished within the past year will receive Emmy nominations, while a few others have outside shots at recognition. This does not include characters like Anakin Skywalker who died before their shows’ latest seasons began but appear as ghosts or in flashbacks. Undead characters like most of...

Back To Black starts its home rollout next week, with DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray options to follow in the summer.
Currently the highest-grossing 15 certificate film in the UK in 2024, the story of Amy Winehouse was brought to the screen earlier this year in Sam Taylor-Johnson’s really rather divisive feature, Back To Black.
While Marisa Abela as Winehouse earned plenty of acclaim, questions were asked of the film, and more are likely to follow as it makes its way to home release. Not got long to wait there, either. The film will be debuting on premium video on demand services from 27th May.
Studiocanal has also confirmed that it’s fully supporting the movie via physical media too. The film will be heading to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray from 1st July 2024.
There’s also going to be a HMV-exclusive ‘First Edition’ too, which is nice.

Talented singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse’s tragic life was already the subject of an Oscar-winning documentary, Amy in 2015, made a few years after her death in 2011at age 27 from alcohol poisoning. So my first reaction on hearing of the biopic drama Back To Black was to wonder if we needed another Amy Winehouse movie. The excellent 2015 documentary seems to have have told her story well and thoroughly, but reportedly the Winehouse family was unhappy with it. However, the family granted permission to the filmmakers of this new biopic drama, Back To Black, with access to materials and song use.

While some may approach the new film Back to Black expecting a lurid tale of a talented performer’s descent into addiction and eventual death, they would be wise to learn that the film is more of a celebration of the talent that it’s subject – Amy Winehouse – had and a lovingly crafted ode to remembering that talent.
Telling the story of Winehouse’s somewhat meteoric rise to fame and the making of her album Back to Black, the film draws from the personal lyrics from her phenomenal album to tell Winehouse’s tale from her own perspective.
Working from a script by Matt Greenhalgh – with whom she last collaborated in 2009 on Nowhere Boy – director Sam Taylor-Johnson, weaves a pseudo-whimsical tale of incredible creativity and talent stopped dead in its tracks. The approach taken here though, tells Winehouse’s story as though the tragedy is being perpetrated upon her and...

Travis Kelce is feeling very grateful for his role in Ryan Murphy’s FX horror series Grotesquerie.
While Kelce knows his way around a football field, a filming set is a new territory. But he opened up in a recent episode of his New Heights podcast about his experience on set so far, starring opposite Niecy Nash-Betts.
“It’s been so much fun,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said. “Ryan Murphy is [an] unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above, man. He’s just — there’s nothing he can’t do and everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable.”
He continued, “Even on top of that, just giving me kinda the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray this part that I’m in.”
Although most details surrounding the series have been kept under wraps, Nash-Betts confirmed Kelce’s involvement earlier this month in an Instagram video.

Writer Matt Greenhalgh and director Sam Taylor-Johnson, who previously collaborated on the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy, return to the genre with Back to Black, telling the story of iconic musician Amy Winehouse. Although the film’s heart is consistently in the right place, its attempts at a complicated execution all too often misfire, leaving a somewhat bitter aftertaste despite occasional success.
Back to Black focuses on Winehouse’s ascent from humble beginnings as a lounge singer in Britain to become one of the most acclaimed voices of her generation. With Winehouse’s tragic rise and fall happening not even a decade and a half ago, audiences likely already know much of this story, but Greenhalgh’s script doesn’t imagine that audiences are ignorant.

With Winehouse’s tragic rise and fall happening not even a decade and a half ago, audiences likely already know much of this story, but Greenhalgh’s script doesn’t imagine that audiences are ignorant.

Marisa Abela knew that “Back to Black” needed women in key production roles. Why? Because Abela was aware that Amy Winehouse’s legacy needed to be a “genuine portrayal” without gendered judgment.
Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, “Back to Black” centers on Winehouse’s musical career, culminating in the Grammy-winning album that was her final release before her death at age 27 in 2011. Winehouse’s relationship with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is positioned as the direct inspiration for “Back to Black,” and Abela was determined not to have a “2024 view” of Winehouse and Fielder-Civil’s tumultuous courtship and subsequent divorce.
“It’s interesting because the thing about being an actor instead of being a writer or a musician is that Amy existed. She’s a real person, and if I decided to put my sort of 2024 view of how women should relate to their partners on top of it, I would not...

Amy Jade Winehouse could have been any young woman growing up in 1990s London — palling around with her mates, sneaking lagers, shagging dudes, getting into trouble, getting her nose pierced, and getting expelled from drama school for it. (That, and a few other reasons.) Until she opened her mouth, at which point she seemingly became possessed by a 1940s jazz chanteuse channeling centuries-old lust and sorrow. Winehouse went from a kid with a bluesy, contralto wail that almost felt like a parlor trick, considering that it was coming from a tiny white teen from Southgate,...

Exclusive: Three and a half decades into his career as a playwright and film and TV writer, Jon Robin Baitz has never been busier, coming off one series, with three others in production or preproduction. Baitz has now signed a big multi-year deal with 20th Television, the studio behind the four series, which all hail from Ryan Murphy Productions. Noone is commenting but I hear the pact — said to be in the premium top range for writing talent — spans five years.
Under the deal, Baitz will develop, write and executive produce original series with 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios, for Disney Entertainment Television, as well as collaborate with Murphy on more projects.
The overall agreement comes on the heels of FX/20th Television/Ryan Murphy Prods.’ limited series Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans, on which Baitz served as an executive producer/showrunner and wrote every episode.

Awards season may well be over for another year in the world of film, with the Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes just a distant memory now. But on Sunday evening, one of the biggest nights in British TV, the BAFTA TV Awards — this year hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Ramesh Ranganathan — took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall. And on a night where the two most nominated shows, Black Mirror and The Crown, failed to snag a single win, Happy Valley, Top Boy, and The Sixth Commandment enjoyed great success in key categories, each taking home two awards apiece.
On the night, Sarah Lancashire won Leading Actress for her all-timer of a turn as police sergeant Catherine Cawood in Happy Valley, her second BAFTA for the same role. The show also snagged the public-voted Memorable Moment award for Catherine and Tommy Lee Royce’s (James Norton) remarkable final kitchen showdown.

Travis Kelce traveled to Paris to support Taylor Swift as the singer added songs from The Tortured Poets Department to the Eras Tour.
Swift kicked off a four-night presentation at the Paris La Défense Arena, and the NFL champion was among those who attended her final night on Sunday, May 12.
Kelce reportedly inspired “So High School,” one of Swift’s songs on her latest album, which she performed on Sunday night.
“You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” Swift sings.

Updated with complete winners list: Despite being up for four acting category awards, The Crown‘s final season left the BAFTA TV Awards empty handed tonight in London.
Elizabeth Debicki, Lesley Manville, Salim Daw and Dominic West were all snubbed, as the the likes of Matthew Macfadyen, Jasmine Jobson, Timothy Spall and Sarah Lancashire all triumphed and the Netflix show went out quietly.
There was also a major surprise in the International category, where little-known French drama Class Act beat the likes of Beef, The Bear and The Last of Us to win the prize. Among the most shocked was the show’s star Laurent Lafitte, who urged the audience to find and watch his show — to the amusement of the audience.

The BAFTA TV Awards took place this sunny Sunday afternoon as the British equivalent of the Emmys awarded the best of the year’s TV on the other side of the Atlantic. The ceremony was hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett, who both hosted last year, while the event takes place at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s South Bank. Jasmine Jobson Beats ‘The Crown’ Pair To Win Best Supporting Actress For ‘Top Boy’ — BAFTA TV Awards
Jasmine Jobson has won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Netflix drama Top Boy.
She beat off competition from the likes of Elizabeth Debicki and Lesley Manville for their roles in The Crown.
The award was the first dished out at this year’s event and continues the rise of Jobson, whose role as Jaq in the gritty Top Boy has been a breakout for the British star.
Top Boy follows the lives of a pair of east London drug kingpins played by Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson, the latter of whom is up for Best Actor tonight. Jobson plays a high-ranking capo in their gang. The series began life on Channel 4 before it was revived on Netflix with the help of celebrity fan Drake.

It was a night of surprises at the BAFTA TV Awards, with “The Crown” and “Black Mirror” failing to pick up any awards while “Succession” walked away with only one for Matthew Macfadyen for best supporting actor.
Macfadyen did not attend the awards at London’s Royal Festival Hall, prompting Helena Bonham Carter, who presented the category, to walk off with the iconic gold BAFTA mask with the promise she would get it to Macfadyen.
The international category also saw upset, with frontrunners “Succession,” “Beef” and “The Bear” all failing to win the award. They were instead beaten by little-known French series “Class Act.” It was a fact acknowledged by the show’s shocked lead actor Laurent Lafitte, who, upon accepting the award, told the audience: “Please watch our show. Travis Kelce is everywhere these days. And we all know why.
Sure, the stud tight end just helped the Kansas City Chiefs win their second straight Super Bowl, but that's not the main reason you can't scroll through social media for more than 15 seconds without seeing his grinning face.
Kelce, as you must be aware, is dating Taylor Swift, the pop icon who might well be the most famous and influential woman on the planet.
Taylor is so famous -- and her love life such a hot topic of discussion -- that anyone with whom she enters a relationship suddenly finds themselves a subject of global obsession.
Hell, Taylor is so famous that Travis' entire family has become famous simply because of their indirect association with her.
(Yes, until recently, Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, was a center for the Philadelphia Eagles. But name another offensive lineman who's a household name,...

Ryan Murphy is not one to shy away from many things. This even includes casting names not normally known for acting, such as Lady Gaga’s early crossover role when she made her appearance in the FX series, American Horror Story. Recently, Murphy even cast Kim Kardashian in a later season of American Horror Story, who isn’t the most popular figure, given the amount of exposure she’s received for years. Murphy would drop a teaser for his upcoming horror drama for FX, which you can watch below, and Deadline has reported that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be making his Hollywood debut in Grotesquerie.

Exclusive: The independent investigation into bullying and misconduct allegations at revered London drama school ArtsEd has been delayed by three months.
Ghazaleh Rezaie, the barrister engaged to investigate claims uncovered in a series of Deadline stories, was expected to report back to the board with her findings in March.
The attorney has now informed the drama school, where Andrew Lloyd Webber holds the honorific title of president, that she will not conclude her work until late June.
In an email to parents, ArtsEd’s acting chair Farida Mannan said: “I would like to inform you that the date for the publication of the public statement, with a summary of the conclusions for the Rezaie investigation, has been extended to 28th June 2024.”
Mannan did not articulate reasons for the delay, but Deadline understands that the review has been more complex than originally anticipated and Rezaie is examining allegations that date back years.

Mannan did not articulate reasons for the delay, but Deadline understands that the review has been more complex than originally anticipated and Rezaie is examining allegations that date back years.

Ready to make your 2024 Emmy predictions for Best Drama Supporting Actress? Before you do, take a look through our photo gallery featuring the likeliest contenders. Elizabeth Debicki (“The Crown”) being the only 2023 nominee eligible to return puts her in the frontrunner position and leaves the remaining slots open to a bevy of formidable newcomers and past hopefuls.
This year’s supporting actress candidates will not have to fend off reigning champ Jennifer Coolidge of “The White Lotus,” which is set to return in 2025 with an almost completely fresh cast. All nine acting nominees from the show’s most recent season are presumably finished playing their roles, as are 2023 featured female competitors Rhea Seehorn and J. Smith-Cameron from the concluded series “Better Call Saul” and “Succession.”
“The Morning Show” cast mates Julianna Margulies and Holland Taylor are each seeking a second win in this category after respectively being honored for “ER...

It may not be hitting theaters in North America until next month, but the Amy Winehouse biopic "Back to Black" is off to a solid start at the box office overseas. The film opened in the U.K. and Ireland this past weekend, and it managed to top the charts in the territory, coming in ahead of Alex Garland's "Civil War," which topped the domestic charts with a $26 million debut, as well as "Kung Fu Panda 4." It's an impressive start, but how will the film fare when it arrives in the U.S. in May?
Director Sam Taylor-Johnson's "Back to Black" topped the U.K./Ireland charts with $3.36 million (£2.7m). That was above "Kung Fu Panda 4," which was in its third weekend in the territory, while "Civil War" had to settle for third place. Given that Winehouse is a London-born artist, it's not necessarily a shock...
