Hollywood Vampyr (2002)
not as bad as i expected
Well, saw this at the video store, read the back of the box, saw the Brain Damage logo, and thought "wow, a cheesy movie! must see!" I was surprised. The movie was actually fairly decent. The acting wasn't bad, a bit over-acted, but, that is how the club goths tend to act anyway, over dramatic. Not one I would buy to put in my collection, but definitely worth a watch.
Terror Toons (2002)
entertainment guaranteed
LMAO!!!!!!!! i LOVED this movie. yes, it was bad, the acting was horrible, the special effects cheap as hell, but ya know, i was highly amused. I have seen other movies by this guy though, and his crew "brain damage video"....all of the movies are just horribly wonderful. don't expect any awards for these.... they all look like they are made with a $200 budget, and, most of the actors/actresses are from porn...hey, everyone needs a break..haha. can't wait to see the sequal to this.
Hell's Highway (2002)
oh man
another bad movie, from another bad movie company...but, this is not a bad thing, i love bad movies. this one though, i would love to see on mst3k...with joel, he's funnier than mike, but, anyway. good amusement, enough blood to keep one entertained for awhile. and, surprisingly, had an ending i did not expect.
I Zombie: The Chronicles of Pain (1998)
very sad...
This was a very sad movie actually. This is the first movie to make you feel sorry for the zombie. A sad descent from humanity, to animal. The budget was low, but, it looked great. The acting was actually pretty good. Didn't seem so much like someone acting, was almost like watching a home movie. Horror buffs should enjoy this one.
La cité des enfants perdus (1995)
beautiful
this was a beautiful movie, to put it simply. I loved the dark look, reminded me of Dark City in that manner. Also, i enjoyed the fact, that it looked like it was set around the depression/WWII, but, the baddies had advanced technology, but looked as if it was built out of old crap. Visually, one of the best movies i have seen, storyline was great, and, i actually finally found something i didn't hate ron perlman in.
House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
this rocked!
this was great!!! i wanted more gore, but my b-movie famished mind was very much amused. i am hoping for a director's cut with a bit more violence...violence is just so happy =) i loved how it had the old movie clips and such, damn, can't wait for it to arrive on dvd now.
