Sex & Nudity

  • Very brief rear male nudity - blink and you'll miss it.

Violence & Gore

  • High impact themes involving scenes and the aftermath of a shocking incident involving a child with strong bloody detail.
  • Close-up shot of a mans hand while he pulls pieces of glass out of it. May be uncomfortable for some viewers. He is covered in blood and his hand is bandaged for the rest of the film.

Profanity

  • Frequent foul language including "fuck" and "shit".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some discussion and drinking of wine.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A man plays with a baby off-screen before a crash is heard and the baby stops crying. It's shown that while playing, the baby fell onto a glass pane which decapitated and killed it. The headless corpse is shown and the severed head is obscured in several shots though there is blood splattered everywhere - the walls, the chair, the man's hands and face, the carpet, and the glass. Not graphic but extremely disturbing.
  • The Mother & Father character of the newborn child at the end of the film. They're both committed suicide at the end but unfortunately we did not get to see that because it's offscreen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Despite its comedy label, the movie itself is a horrific and distrustful watch. The main plot centers around the main character hiding the corpse of his new born baby from his wife, his brother, and his brother's wife all while trying to deal with the guilt of the death. The humor in question is as pitch black as it can be and when the tension starts rising, it never lets go.
