Actor Matthew Perry once went on a secret night out with Cameron Diaz, but it didn’t end well according to the ‘Friends’ star. In his memoir, the former ‘Friends’ star — who sadly passed away over the weekend – claimed that during their “unexpected” date, the ‘Vanilla Sky’ actress “accidentally hit him in the face” despite aiming for his shoulder, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’.
Matthew wrote that she was “stoned” and the date was soon after her split from Justin Timberlake.
As per ‘Mirror.co.uk’, he said in the book that he was set up with Cameron and the pair went to a group dinner party with friends and noted that he could tell she “wasn’t interested in (him) at all,” before adding that she got “immediately stoned” at the event.

The return of Happy Valley – seven years after its second season – might just constitute the first “pinch me” moment of 2023. By the second episode, it’s back to business as usual. Sergeant Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) is rolling up her sleeves to do some good ol’ police work, while Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton) is up to no good and sporting a new hairdo.
Et tu Brute?
Last week’s episode left Catherine with the revelation that her post-Tommy life of domestic bliss isn’t quite as blissful as she had thought. Someone has been taking Ryan (Rhys Connah) to see his no-good father in prison – but who? Episode two gives us the answer straight off the bat: Clare! More specifically, it’s Clare (Siobhan Finneran) and Neil (Con O’Neil) but mostly, we’re just shocked about Clare.
Catherine drops her jaw in utter disbelief, muttering: “S***.” Then comes the inevitable follow-up question: Why?...

In the past decade, network television has failed to compete creatively with the shows available on premium channels and streaming services. The best showrunners and artists in the industry tend to sign deals with the studios that they know will give them the freedom to pursue their ideas to their fullest potential. How can networks like NBC compete with blockbuster shows like HBO's "Game of Thrones" or Netflix's "Stranger Things?"
A rare exception to this trend is NBC's brilliant existential science fiction sitcom "The Good Place." Although it functions as a standard network comedy, "The Good Place" is slyly subversive in the way that it tackles themes such as inherent nature, determinism, and mental health. Creator Michael Schur is a veteran of the industry. He previously worked on "The Office," "Parks and Recreation," and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
