When Bella returns to London to visit the dying Godwin; she gets off the carriage and closes the door with her empty right hand. However in the next immediate cut when the carriage drives away, she is now holding her luggage with the right hand. In addition in the preceding black and white scene, she is holding the bag with her left hand.
Living in the late 1800s, with the mind and dexterity of an infant and then a young child, Bella somehow and for no good reason keeps her armpits clean shaven.
In the 1880s Lisbon, cable cars are visible that were only introduced in 1998 during the Expo 98 Excibition. However this could have been deliberated due to the fantasy character of the film.
