Cocteau Twins have announced vinyl reissues of their final two albums, 1993’s Four-Calendar Café and 1996’s Milk & Kisses. The fresh pressings are out January 12th via 4Ad.
With 24-bit remasters by guitarist Robin Guthrie, the reissues mark the first time both Four-Calendar Café and Milk & Kisses have been released on vinyl in the United States. It also reunites Cocteau Twins with 4Ad after the band left the storied London label for Capitol Records for US distribution in 1988.
Recorded at Cocteau Twins’ September Sound studio in West London, Four-Calendar Café was a departure for the band — in that you could actually sort of understand what Elizabeth Fraser was singing. The record spawned two moderate hits, “Evangeline” and “Bluebeard.”
Its follow-up (and ultimately the band’s swan song), Milk & Kisses, was recorded between September Sound and Pors Poulhan, France. It features the singles “Violaine” and “Tishbite.” Pre-orders for both reissues, which will also be available on CD,...

The SAG-AFTRA national board has reprimanded Los Angeles president Patricia Richardson over her refusal to remove actor Corey Feldman, who has been accused of sexual assault, from guild’s Los Angeles local sexual harassment committee.
Feldman has issued a strong denial of the allegations. Richardson responded by blasting the national board and accused it of employing a “smear tactic.”
The dust-up emerged Monday during the meeting of the national board and stemmed from Richardson’s refusal last month to remove Feldman from the Los Angeles local’s Sexual Harassment Committee after receiving “detailed complaints” from several women.
“If SAG-AFTRA does not respond appropriately to credible allegations of sexual harassment, abuse and assault such as those at issue, it will not retain the ability to act as a respected, proactive force combatting sexual harassment, abuse and assault in our Union and our industry,” the resolution said.
The resolution did not name Feldman.

The national board of SAG-AFTRA on Monday reprimanded Los Angeles Local president Patricia Richardson for refusing to remove a member of the local’s Sexual Harassment Committee, even though the board says she had received “detailed complaints from women who had been subject to or witness to sexual harassment, abuse and assault” by the committee member.
The board resolution does not identify the committee member, but Deadline has learned from multiple sources that it’s actor Corey Feldman, who stepped down from the committee June 26 amid mounting pressure for him to do so. Feldman has been a leading voice in the battle against abuse of underage actors.
On Monday, Feldman posted on Twitter that “Im About 2 B Attacked Again In A Massive Way!” He also sent a statement to Deadline saying, “I welcome an investigation”:

Throwing shade and doubt at Corey Feldman and his documentary My Truth: The Rape of 2 Corey’s, isn’t exactly the best idea at the moment, but throwing every ounce of support behind it is kind of rough since the premiere. In fact the only scheduled appearance that it would make for those that want to watch, didn’t go as smoothly as planned. There was an impressive number of people that wanted to see how this story turned out and who would be revealed as Corey’s number one abuser, morbid as that might appear for people to be excited about something

Fifteen minutes into Monday night’s premiere of Corey Feldman’s long-awaited documentary, (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys, the 48-year-old former child actor suddenly came sprinting down the aisle of the theater where the screening was being held. Flanked by four security guards, Feldman asked for the house lights to be turned on, and grabbed a microphone to address the crowd. There was a problem.
