Sex & Nudity

- A topless woman has brief sex on top of a man while another woman kisses him. This is shown from a distance and is quite dark.
- A few shots of a topless woman beside a pool.

- The main character is an assassin and kills people onscreen.
- A man is killed by a sniper. The impact is not seen but there is some blood splatter.
- A man is drown in a pool. It is all underwater and he can be seen struggling.
- A few men attempt to mug a man. They knock him down and kick him, but he attacks them with a knife and runs away. His bruised face is later scene.
- Quick successive flashback of several killings.
- Two men attempt to mug a man, but he stops them and shoots them.
- A man is attacked bum it beats up his attackers.

- A man is shot at and chased by police. He is not injured.

- The many deaths onscreen may be intense for some viewers.
- A man having his arm cut off is very graphic and realistic looking and may shock people.

Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- In the film's climax, most of Surat's underlings are shot and killed by Joe. Some blood splatter is visible despite the scenes being dark.
- Joe commits murder-suicide by shooting himself and Surat through his (Joe's) head. It is fairly graphic.
- Joe slices a man's hand off with a boat propeller, causing large amounts of blood to spurt out. Joe then takes the gun from the chopped off hand and kills his target.
- A character is blown in half by a grenade, blowing off half his corpse. One of the most goriest scenes in the film.
