- GoofsIn "Out of Odor", in the shot of Fifi La Fume first entering the car wash tunnel from the camera angle in side perspective, the cel background used is the same background of the aftermath of the damage to the car wash tunnel caused by Elmyra following her which happens seconds later.
- Quotes
Plucky Duck: As for your main course, may I suggest our... rump roast.
[chuckles to the camera]
Plucky Duck: Uh, Buttfield? May I take your order, please?
Bottomly Buttfield: We'll have the Chateau briand, fondue and filet mignon with bernaise sauce.
Plucky Duck: Very good. And how about an appetizer to start?
Fannie Buttfield: Those ARE the appetizers!
Plucky Duck: Right!
[holds his beak while laughing to himself]

Instead "Viewer Mail Day" is something of an uneven episode. Loved the wraparound story, as it does centre around two of the show's best characters, and one segment works very well. Was mixed on one and one segment didn't do much for me. "Viewer Mail Day", comprised of three segments named "Pluck of the Irish", "Out of Odor" and "Buttering Out the Buttfields", is worth seeing if primarily a fan of the show, but it's not great and there are far better episodes of 'Tiny Toon Adventures'. Also ones with segments that fit the themes of the episodes they come from more appropriately.
"Viewer Mail Day's" best segment is "Pluck of the Irish" by quite some way. There was the danger of it being predictable and too mundane, but it turned out to be quite amusing and spooky. Thanks to its genuinely creepy setting and the banshee character is fun. It is also the segment that is the closest in spirit to classic Looney Tunes and has the most wit and wackiness of the three segments, and Plucky and Hamton's Daffy and Porky-like pairing is a great one.
Wasn't as crazy about the others. Plucky is a lot of fun in "Buttering Out the Buttfields" and has good chemistry with the couple and wonderfully wacky expressions, but the story is very predictable and the couple are of the functional but in need of more personality kind. There are amusing moments here but nothing hilarious. The weakest of the segments is "Out of Odor", which has some amusement and the character of Fifi is nice but is let down by the too cute and old hat story, humour not having enough freshness and from Elmyra being quite annoying at times.
Did enjoy the wraparound story with Buster and Babs, which has much wit and wildness and Buster and Babs continue to be great characters. Wraparound stories do tend to just be there to link the stories but the chemistry between Buster and Babs and how strong their personalities are makes this one fun to watch.
Animation is rich in detail and vibrant, while the music is characterful and full of infectious energy and dynamic orchestration. The theme song is one of early 90s animation's catchiest. The writing is mostly very sharp and witty. Buster and Babs fare best of the characters, with Plucky close behind. The voice acting is fine all round.
Concluding, nice enough but uneven and unexceptional. 6/10
