I saw this movie at an Australian film festival and yeaaah. This is one of those movies that isn't strange in a way that becomes cool or even in a way that you have to get your friends to see it. It's just plain weird.
The movie is very slow and you are constantly left with a feeling of wondering where it's going. You spend most of the movie hoping that at the end something brilliant will happen and make it all worth while.
It doesn't.
It's the kind of movie that at the end you look at your friends on either side of you and go okaaaaay. It's not freaky enough to cause people to leave the room, it's not freaky enough to be groundbreaking or to become a cult classic, it's weird.
I know I keep saying the same thing, but that's all that really can be said about this movie.
I gave it a 6 out of 10 because the movie wasn't really any good at all, but it was weird enough that it stands out in my mind as being "really" weird, and weird in such a unique way.
It's definitely an experience. Just don't ask me what kind.
