When Jake speaks to April after his skiing trip, he very obviously has love bites all over his neck, yet whilst changing after the football game only a few moments later, there is no sign of any of them.
The Vice Principal removes the "Tuba News" from the top of the police fax twice.
When Jessica is at the gas station she puts the gold earring in and there is a flower earring behind it. Later she only has one earring in.
The night before Jessica becomes a man, she is talking to April on the phone about how everything is perfect. Then she puts her phone down and goes to sleep, but it in the morning it is in her hand still though she clearly puts it down.
Sunglasses appear on the Asian lady between shots as she reads the results.
At the end of the film when Clive is handcuffed inside the police car he opens the door and escapes. This is factually impossible since police cars do not have handles on the inside and can only be opened from the exterior doors.
When Clive is checking the oil in Jessica's VW, Jessica honks the horn while Clive is under the hood and the ignition is off. This is impossible on most German cars (and Volkswagens in particular), as the horn is disabled when the ignition is switched off.
The opening scene supposedly takes place in Abyssinia, as written on the screen.
However:
1. The scene looks more like it takes place in ancient Egypt.
2. Abyssinia is another (older) name for Ethiopia, and the scene does not picture anything
even close to ancient Abyssinia or Pre-Abyssinia kingdoms of present day Ethiopia.
3. Ethiopians (Specially ancient Abyssinians) are dark skinned, and not as pictured in the movie's
opening.
While checking the oil on the VW Bug Clive Maxtone burns his arm, but there is no area hot enough for someone to burn themselves where his arm was. While checking the oil he pulls the dipstick out of the wrong place on the motor, too. On a VW Bug the dipstick is directly in the center-front of the engine.
In the first opening cheer-leading scene, Jessica runs off to the side and says, "Ready, Hindenburg?". While the character's actual name is "Hildenburg", this is meant as a joke on her weight, in reference to the famous blimp, and is entirely intentional.
When Jessica chokes Clive (while their bodies are still switched) Jessica later reveals she actually took the earring off of her ear, however when the strip club manager pulls him off when he was choking her we clearly see nothing in his hands.
When Clive is pumping the gas into Jessica's Beetle, he locks the gas pump handle back, but you can see that the lock is not engaged.
In the bathroom scene at the nightclub, the bathroom attendant turns on the tap, and water is heard to flow, several seconds before water actually comes out of the tap.
During the basketball match between Richie and Jessica (as a man). After Richie knocks Jessica to the ground and walks away. He is heard laughing but his face is showing no laughing expression.
During the basketball match with Richie and Jessica (as a man), Richie blocks Jessica's jump shot and knocks her to the ground and says "gotcha back to Tijuana" we hear "take that shit back to Tijuana".
If watching on DVD with closed captions (or a streaming service or cable with closed captions). The very first scene where Jessica as a man is at April's house spraying herself with a bunch of cans of deodorant. A song plays in the background. The caption says "Firecracker by Roxy Saint" but the song that's playing in the background is Now Understand This by Boomkat. Firecracker doesn't play in the background until they are at Eden's house when they suspect that she was the reason Jessica turned into a man.
In the opening scene, the souls moved to the bodies of each woman. When Jessica and Clive switched, their bodies moved to the other's soul.
"Ling Ling" is a stereotypical Chinese name and does not come close to a Korean name. When Keesha's mother first appears in the movie, she is dressed in traditional Chinese clothing and not Korean. At the graduation scene at the end, however, Keesha is wearing correct Korean traditional dress.
When April asks to see Jessica's (as a man) penis and is impressed when she's sees it and tells Jessica that she's seen 5 including April's little brother. April does not have a little brother.
