Jim refers to his Ferrari 355 as a "Cabriolet". Ferrari convertibles are called "Spiders".
Also in the last scene, Seth's car is beside a black VW Passat and the red Diablo is beside the Passat. When he pulls out (now perpendicularly parked and seen from above) the Passat is gone.
Seth invites his father to a diner for lunch and arranges the napkins on the table. After his father sits down, the napkins are back in their original positions.
When Seth is pulling into the parking lot we see the front license plate on his Volvo is New York QAG836. When Seth arrives at the party where the boys are watching "Wall Street" he parks across the street and walks behind a black sports car with the same license plate - New York QAG836.
When Michael is talking to the room full of brokers to tell them about the party, his tie pin is alternately closed/open between shots.
When the FBI arrests Seth, they tell him to go to work the next day and copy his C Drive onto a floppy. This would be impossible as a floppy disc only holds 1.5 megabytes and his hard drive would hold Gigabytes, at least.
When Seth closes an account before receiving his Series 7, Greg becomes angry and tells Seth that he'd violated several SEC laws. However he closes Harry Reynard a short time later, and still hasn't passed the test.
After a client realizes his broker embezzled his funds he could sue him in Small claims court therefore each broker wouldn't have much money leftover as they appear to.
Having known the FBI are going to raid the office why would Seth go to Chris to ask him to sign a sell ticket so Harry Reynard could "dump" his shares on the open market and make his money back. Seth confirms this goof by saying "what's the difference?" Even though the The FBI would cancel all transactions made long before the raid, Seth asked his friend Chris for this favor because it's possible the government would be more lenient in Chris' sentencing.
After Seth and Chris have their argument in the stairwell right off of the boiler room, Seth goes down at least one flight of stairs on his way out. In the next scene he passes Abby in the receptionist area that is on the same floor as the boiler room - because he's been bumped upstairs to nicer offices.
When Seth's father calls him to say that he would go in with him with the IPO scam he states first that "I'll make sure you won't get caught" and then "I have a friend..." While the FBI playback is different, since this wasn't court testimony, they may have been using an altered tape.
Jim begins the orientation interview with the new recruits by telling them we expect our coworkers to treat each other with a certain level of respect, yet throughout the film we see and hear the brokers constantly berating and belittling each other with profanity and other remarks and gestures. Jim most likely meant the trainees are expected to treat each other with respect. However the team leaders are allowed to berate and belittle their trainees.
Greg tells Michael he has a list a clients that have taken heavy losses and continued to trade stock with him, but they continue to do business with him because their promised they will make back their investment plus a percentage in profit which are the characteristics of a pump and dump scheme and that is how boiler rooms operate.
Greg is introduced as "Greg Weinstein" by Michael, yet moments later the leader board names him as "Greg Feinstein".
When Seth is driving on the Long Island Expressway he says he goes to his interview off exit 53. In the next frame you see Seth driving on Northern Blvd. which is exit 32. Further in this scene we see Seth driving on Northern Blvd. east but then cuts to a scene where he is traveling west on Northern Blvd. which would make him driving the total opposite way of where he wanted to go.
Seth mentions that the brokers act like they are taking the 6 train to Fulton Street when in fact you take the 4/5 to Fulton Street. The 6 only goes to City Hall/Brooklyn Bridge.
If Jeff hired additional help to keep the casino running full time, Seth would have already known about it because the casino is in his apartment, he still has to go in and out when the casino was open.
Harry Renard could've pressed criminal charges against Seth and J,T. Marlin.
Seth complains to Abby that he has no more income because his casino dealer Jeff took his goldmine which was the casino when in fact Seth closed the casino himself.
Seth pitches Harry by telling him Dan Dorfman on CNBC put a heavy buy recommendation on Farrow Tech, television networks and their hosts are not permitted by law to recommend which stocks to buy because there could be a conflict of interest and is considered insider trading.
Agent Drew allows Seth to go back to work for one day but when he calls Seth to tell him it's time, Seth leaves and tells his coworkers his going to lunch which is half a day.
