Sex & Nudity

  • A very brief shot of a man taking a shower with all of his back appearing naked (his buttocks are visible) and there is some kissing between a man and a woman in a few scenes.

Violence & Gore

  • Nothing particularly violent, other than a few rough sequences of exercise and athletes collapsing from fatigue.

Profanity

  • One use of the obscenity 'Shit' (not in all available versions)
  • Some appliances of racial slurs for the French (Frogs).
  • 9 or 10 uses of 'Bloody' 1 use of 'God' and 1 use of "For God's sake"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There are a few scenes of athletes smoking and drinking wine/alcohol (while dining). Smoking also by other characters and at restaurants and gatherings.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • At the beginning of the film, Montague and Abrahams are helped from their train to a taxi by a pair of gentlemen who have war injuries. The sight of the injuries on their faces may be a bit shocking on first glance.
  • Some scenes in the Olympics involve athletes tripping and collapsing while running; others involve arduous training sessions and exercises emphasized on several of the main characters.
