(Warning: This post contains spoilers through the series finale of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”)
“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” ended without giving “Riverdale” fans the thing they’ve been begging for since Season 1: a crossover between the shows based on Archie Comics characters.
But even though Netflix’s “Sabrina” is over, “Riverdale” is still in session, meaning it would, theoretically, still be possible for Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) to appear on The CW drama. And Shipka says she’s on board to put the headband back on for an event like that.
“Yeah! If they want me, I’ll be there,” the “Sabrina” star told TheWrap. “Literally, they have my number. They know where I live. I would do anything for Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa, the creator/showrunner of ‘Riverdale’ and ‘Sabrina’] and I love the guys over on ‘Riverdale,’ so I think that would be super fun. At least for an episode! Just bop over, right?...

This Chilling Adventures of Sabrina article contains Major spoilers for the series’ ending. Obviously.
We bid farewell to Greendale (for now at least?) and explore what it all means.
This Chilling Adventures of Sabrina article contains nothing but spoilers. We have a spoiler-free review right here if you prefer.
As the credits rolled on the final chapter of the saga of Sabrina Spellman, she had given her life to protect all of existence itself. A noble death to be sure, but one that is steeped in permanence.
Or is it? For “The Sweet Hereafter” shares a more than passing resemblance to the nothingness aesthetic of “The Void,” giving the writers a potential loophole to exploit should this series somehow (hopefully) be resurrected. This New Year’s Eve delivered Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4, the final season of the hit Archie Comics adaptation. That wasn’t always supposed to be the case, though, as Netflix only cancelled the show after production had wrapped. Not that you’d know from watching it, mind you, as Part 4 ends in as conclusive and explosive a fashion as possible. And now that fans have no doubt binged all eight episodes, star Kiernan Shipka has reacted to the series finale.
Part 4 sees an array of ancient monsters known as the Eldritch Horrors unleashed on the world. The final Terror, The Void, proves so powerful that Sabrina can only defeat it by making the ultimate sacrifice to save her loved ones. Yup, Caos ends with Sabrina Spellman’s death. And it’s not even an ambiguous, open-ended demise, as we see her funeral play out and follow her in...

One of the more disappointing cancellations that Netflix has made this year is culling Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The Riverdale spinoff brought fans a bold new take on the classic Sabrina the Teenage Witch character and found itself showered with praise from both critics and viewers alike, but the streaming giant still brought the axe down on the series back in the summer, leaving many subscribers devastated.
Thankfully, though, they allowed things to wrap up properly with one final season and now that it’s premiered, Netflix users are taking to social media to share their excitement at getting to see more of the titular heroine and the rest of her gang. Sitting at a 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, this latest run of the series seems to be going down quite well across the board and below, you can see what folks are saying about it.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for the final season of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” through Episode 7.)
Netflix’s horror-drama “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” gave a big shoutout to ABC’s ’90s sitcom “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” in its recently launched final season with the cameos for Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick. Or, as fans of the Melissa Joan Hart-led comedy remember them, Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda.
The “Sabrina”-“Sabrina” crossover event comes in the Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa-created series’ penultimate episode, when Sabrina Morningstar (played by Kiernan Shipka) enters the “Other Cosmos” in hopes of saving Sabrina Spellman (also Shipka) and the rest of her loved ones from the Eldritch Terrors. It’s here, in this alternate reality, she finds herself the star of a long-running TV series, with her aunties played by Broderick and Rhea, and her *real* Aunt Zelda and Hilda are their understudies.

Unlike many of the leading lights from the Golden Age of Hollywood, Audrey Hepburn’s star shines as brightly now as it did during her heyday in the 1950s and 60s. Not only did she win an Oscar at 24 for her first major Hollywood movie, 1953’s “Roman Holiday,” she was also nominated for 1954’s “Sabrina,” 1959’s “The Nun’s Story,” 1961’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and 1967’s “Wait Until Dark.” The lithe, lanky Hepburn, who died in 1993 at the age of 63, was also a fashion icon and muse of Givenchy. She was a beloved humanitarian, who was a Goodwill Ambassador to Unicef and traveled tirelessly worldwide to call attention to the organization’s lifesaving programs.
She is the subject of a new documentary “Audrey,” currently on DVD and available on digital and VOD on Jan. 5. Besides clips from her films and vintage interviews with Hepburn, the documentary includes interviews with her son...

With the news of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's cancellation, it seemed like a crossover between the series and Riverdale would never be made.
Both shows share a universe, and with them being set just a town away from each other, it's surprising we never got a full-fledged crossover.
With Caos about to conclude for good, Riverdale is set to continue for a fifth season, and likely, beyond.
Kiernan Shipka, who plays the titular witch, is opening up about how Riverdale could benefit from a visit from Sabrina.
"Honestly, I just think Riverdale could use a witch," Shipka said, according to Cbr.
"They're going through a ton of stuff and they need some celestial whatever kind of vibes! They need a bit of extra power, they need someone who knows reincarnation, necromancy," the actress added.

This Chilling Adventures of Sabrina review contains no spoilers, except for some information that was presented in the series’ trailers. It is based on all eight episodes of season 4 that were made available to critics.
“Once more into the fray, right guys?”
Let’s just bottom line things right up front here: This is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s strongest — and most entertaining — season. So naturally (in what is rapidly becoming the streaming giant’s signature move) Netflix canceled the series just as it reached its creative peak. The eight episodes of this fourth and final chapter of the Archie Comics-inspired series have it making bold character choices and plot developments that are genuinely surprising.
Indeed, there is a finality to these new installments that make one question how soon into the production process the show’s creative team was informed of its cancellation.. Whomever knew what and when...

Riverdale producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa heads HBO Max horror series The Shelley Society, and will shop Dracula spinoff The Brides.
HBO Max, the upcoming streaming service from the premium cable giant, is bolstering its lineup of original content at a rapid pace; a notion exemplified by its most recent order for an irreverently-themed horror series in The Shelley Society.
The Shelley Society will manifest as a Victorian take on The X-Files formula, following the quasi-historic exploits of Frankenstein author Mary Shelley and friends. “Riverdale” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has another dark project in the works, this one is centered on a young Mary Shelley and is headed to the upcoming streaming service HBO Max.
“The Shelley Society,” a pilot co-created by Aguirre-Sacasa and “Riverdale” writers Tessa Leigh Williams and James DeWille, has been ordered at HBO Max, a representative for the platform tells TheWrap.
Here’s the logline for the show, which is described as “a Victorian ‘X-Files'” and produced by Warner Bros. Television: Young author Mary Shelley leads a band of Romantic outlaws–among them, her lovers Percy and the Lord Byron–against all manner of supernatural threats and monsters…including Shelley’s own iconic Creature.

Halloween is the one day of the year cosplay is socially acceptable, and there's bound to be some TV Fanatics out there dressing up as iconic characters.
We compiled a list of our favorite entertainment inspired characters with a killer sense of style. Here's how to get their wardrobe just in time for Halloween, and for more causal dressed characters, you can emulate them year-round!
Madam Satan (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina)
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina swept through Greendale to Netflix with a cold Autumn wind. The puppet master pulling the strings at the back of the show is Michelle Gomez's Mary Wardwell. But she's hiding something pretty big: she's actually Madam Satan.

The first trailer for Netflix’s The Witcher series dropped at Comic-Con last week and fans seemed to love what it had to offer! This series is being adapted from the books written by Andrzej Sapkowski and not the video game franchise. But, that doesn’t mean fans of the game won’t like it!
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the showrunner for The Witcher, has reassured fans of the game that they are going to “love the show” if you’ve enjoyed the characters and stories from the games. While talking to Cb about the series, she explained:
“You know, I've played the games, but really our stories are coming from the book, and what's cool to follow up to your follow up, is that I think there's a lot of concern, will the television show be for game fans as well? I absolutely think so. If you think about how adaptations work,...

Will Friedle and Sdcc audiences alike learn that Boy Meets World played a big role in him joining Batman Beyond.
For any Batman fan of a certain age, Terry McGinnis is as true a Dark Knight as the best of them—and the best has always been Bruce Wayne. This is in no small part thanks to Will Friedle’s dryly counterintuitive performance as a teenage superhero. In different hands, it could be as irreverent as Peter Parker, but Friedle acutely underplays the youthfulness, which brings out something darker and harder even even when he’s being “schway.” Yet the casting of Friedle in the star role of Batman Beyond had everything to do the actor’s other beloved millennial touchstone role… as the idiot savant Eric Matthews on Boy Meets World.
This was one of several amusing surprises at this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con...

Netflix brought The Witcher to Hall H in San Diego Comic-Con today, and that’s where they dropped the first awesome trailer and a few clips for the highly anticipated fantasy series. Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri), and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich all showed up to talk about the show, and I love what they are doing with the series!
The footage that was screened was spectacular! I think fans of the book series and video game are going to love what they show delivers. The trailer they shared at Comic-Con has been released online for the rest of the world to experience and I think it’s going to get the fans super pumped!

What does the Devil have in common with a pair of physicists? What about a mobster and a glee club or a duck and a ballerina? The answer is they all have the same taste in music.
When it comes to song selection, TV shows tend to think alike. It might be because they want all to feature the latest hits of the year.

Amid the glut of bad films about possessed toys, kids can learn a lot from Annabelle – the devil doll with an impressive can-do attitude
The film industry is notorious for overworking genres so remorselessly that the public forgets what made them special in the first place. This happened long ago with westerns, films about the mafia or insect-like extraterrestrials, and in recent years Hollywood has milked dry the zombie/vampire idiom as well. Now the same thing has happened with films about evil dolls.
Movies with demonically possessed dolls have been around for generations, but in the last couple of years they have become so ubiquitous that when you see any movie with a doll in it, you’re surprised if it doesn’t turn out to be the spawn of Satan. The new Child’s Play reboot – with Chucky as a dysfunctional Alexa – is the eighth in a largely...

In a deal with 20th Century Fox Television, Sarah Esberg, most recently a longtime producer and executive at Brad Pitt’s Plan B, is making the leap to Drew Goddard’s production company to become president of the newly formed Goddard Textiles.

Billy Wilder would’ve celebrated his 113th birthday on June 22, 2019. The six-time Oscar winner left behind a series of classically quotable features from Hollywood’s Golden Age, crafting sharp witted and darkly cynical stories that blended comedy and pathos in equal measure. In honor of his birthday, let’s take a look back at 25 of his greatest films, ranked worst to best.
Wilder was born to a family of Austrian Jews in 1906. After working as a journalist, he developed an interest in filmmaking and collaborated on the silent feature “People on Sunday” (1929) with fellow rookies Fred Zinnemann, Robert Siodmak and Edgar G. Ulmer. With the rise of Adolph Hitler, Wilder fled to Paris, where he co-directed the feature “Mauvaise Graine” (1934). Tragically, his mother, stepfather and grandmother all died in the Holocaust.

Think about the lost song you heard on the radio and how it made you feel? Now think about it in the context of it you ever heard it in a TV show.
Would the scene be happy or sad? Would it be the climactic scene or an opening scene? Are the lyrics ironic for what you imagine? Musical scores and soundtracks are vital to setting the tone for what an audience should be feeling and even sometimes subverting it.

Whether it's a montage or a pivotal choice in a television show's season, the right song makes all the difference, and there are so many tv shows right now doing spectacular things with music.
Often times, you'll find that slow ballads playing over dramatic scenes are the ones you might be drawn to, but there are also cases of upbeat music enhancing a show's atmosphere.

Audrey Hepburn would’ve celebrated her 90th birthday on May 4, 2019. The Oscar-winning actress only appeared in a handful of movies before her death in 1993 at the age of 63, but many of them remain classics. In honor of her birthday, let’s take a look back at 15 of her greatest films, ranked worst to best.
Hepburn was born in 1929 in Ixelles, Brussels. Her family moved to the Netherlands in 1939 after Britain declared war on Germany, and when Hitler’s army invaded in 1940, they were forced to remain for another five years. Hepburn was affected by the occupation both physically and psychologically, witnessing atrocities and suffering from malnutrition when food became scarce. Lisa Soper knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the movies but unlike most kids who have dreams of being actors, writers or directors, Soper's passion was to help build the worlds we see on screen.
With a dream and a talent for drawing, Soper found herself in art school followed by a short-lived but ultimately instrumental job as an animator. The day-to-day grind of office work wasn't for her so she took the plunge and a job on a no-budget movie which led to another project and then another and now, a decade later, Soper is the production designer on Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina."

Be careful what you wish for because chances are it will be much, much worse.
Our favorite characters got the chance to travel into their potential futures, with lessons they thought they learned to help them in their mission against Blackwood.
Or so it looked.
During Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 Episode 15 and Season 1 Episode 16, everyone first gets a wake-up call about the worries plaguing them.
Anything that a character was wondering about, the mysterious tarot reader explored for them. Their options were laid out and there wasn't a happy ending for anyone in sight, but some of them still got the answers they were looking for.
This was Ms. Wardwell pulling the strings though, so it all could have been a total lie as well.
Then that led into Zelda's special day, which was interrupted when the Anti Pope arrives and Sabrina gets a warning.
Her father appears to warn her about Blackwood,...

Warning: Major (and majorly spooky) spoilers for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina below!
If the final episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's second season doesn't make you shout "What the hell?!" "What the heaven?!" then perhaps you're not as emotionally invested in the Netflix teen drama as I am. And you know what? If that's the case, I'm jealous, because the season two finale leaves Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) reeling from the betrayal, and then subsequent "death" of her warlock boyfriend, Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood).
Much of the lead-up to season two hinged around whether or not Sabrina would reconcile with her mortal high school sweetheart, Harvey (Ross Lynch), or move on with Nick, who attends the Academy of the Unseen Arts with her. Though she and Harvey briefly rekindle things in the beginning of the season (emphasis on briefly), Sabrina quickly comes to realize that the differences between them are...

Drew Goddard is one of the most interesting filmmakers working today. He began his career as one of the biggest TV writers around, with credits like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Alias,” and “Lost.” His transition into films began with the breakout film “Cabin in the Woods,” and was followed up by his Oscar-nominated script for “The Martian” and his recent directorial effort “Bad Times at the El Royale.” The filmmaker has also had a number of superhero projects get announced and then fall apart, such as ‘Sinister Six,’ ‘Daredevil,’ and “X-Force.” And with the latter in “limbo,” it appears he’s ready to move on with something less superheroic.
