Mauro Borcich was introduced to the science behind the moving image through his son Blake Borcich - aged 10. The medium, the craft & the business of movies soon drew he and Blake inextricably together to operate passionately, professionally and permanently as ONE. Blake's intensity within the realm of film-making immediately became a new found passion for Mauro - and it turns out he had lived fifty years of his life, priming himself to be the most accomplished Key Grip and the most ardent and able Producer one could hope to be and one could hope to endeavor with.
Across a span of ten years - particularly concentrated in the final two after tragically receiving an ultimate deadline he could not negotiate - Mauro saw it in his power to do whatever it took to consistently achieve perfection in he and his son's work and lay the substratum for the rest of Blake's career, giving him the best shot possible. Just as he was by his son's side every single step up on the journey from the very beginning, Mauro will be there always, guiding Blake in his every decision, smiling on his call of "Action" and cherishing the highs atop stages of accolade.- Writer
