Murphy Cross, a 2007 Tony Award-Winning Producer/Director/Co-Creator of the multi-award winning "Jay Johnson: The Two and Only", was born June 22, 1950 in Havre de Grace, MD. She studied dance with Bobbi Smith and holds a BFA in Dance from University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After performing on Broadway (1970's and '80's) in "Bubbling Brown Sugar", Pal Joey", "Division Street" and the original production of "A Chorus Line", she co-starred with Lee Remick in "Torn Between Two Lovers" and guest starred on many other television shows including Cheers (1982), Night Court (1984), and a celebrated two part episode of Taxi (1978) playing Louie's blind blind-date. She is also known for her film characterizations in Annie (1982), Perfect (1985), and Victim of Love (1991). Murphy's extensive choreographic credits include: TV's Roseanne (1988), It's Garry Shandling's Show. (1986), "Howie Mandel's Summer Special" and Deadwood (2004). She has directed and/or choreographed dozens of theatrical productions across the country. As a partner in Tony Award-Winning WetRock Entertainment she continues to develop theatrical events for stage and screen that inspire. She is a 2016 alum of UCB and can be seen in the Christmas 2015 episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015) and Funny Or Die's "National Park Dating Site".- Ed Bakey was born on 13 November 1925 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, USA. Starting his show-business career as a singer and acrobat in French music halls, Deed got in almost at the ground floor of the French film industry, making his debut in 1905. It didn't take him long to become one of France's first major comic film stars, and he soon became internationally famous. Unfortunately, his popularity started to wane by 1915, and his screen appearances became less frequent; he made his last film in 1928. Laurent Ruquier made his debut in the famous French "café-théâtre" Le Caveau de la république in his own stand-up. Then he become the assistant of Jean Amadou and Maryse for a radio program. After that, he was hired by Claude Villers to make a column on the "Vrai-Faux Journal" for France Inter. Then he had his own radio program "Rien à Cirer" which ran a long time on the same station before a change of title many times (Dans tous les sens, Changement de Direction,...). After an adaptation of his show "Rien à Cirer" to the TV which stopped after few weeks and Les niouzes (1995) which ended after only 5 days, Ruquier decided to leave television for ever. But few years later he made his return as co-host with Marc-Olivier Fogiel on the show "Un an de +" on Canal+ and was announced as co-host for the new show of Fogiel on France 3 "ONPP" but few days before the premiere he finally agreed to have his own show -"On a tout essayé"_ produced by Thierry Ardisson. He left France Inter to come back to Europe 1 with his famous show "On va s'gêner". He wrote few plays like "La presse est unanime" for the actress 'Isabelle Mergault', "Grosse Chaleur", "Si c'était à refaire" and "Landru" starring Régis Laspalès as Désiré Landru in december 2005. He also produced Marie Laforêt's comeback to stage in 2005 (after she left her singing tours since 1972)- Tita Purdom was born on 5 May 1927 in Le Havre, France.
