Californication's Hank Moody (David Duchovny) has really done it this time.

The charming lothario was already in deep: He's bedded both his teaching assistant (Diane Farr) and a student (Eva Amurri), and he's got the prim-and-proper dean's wife (Embeth Davidtz) all hot and bothered. But now, Hank's soulmate and mother of his child, Karen (Natascha McElhone), has returned from New York, sending Professor Moody into female frenzy.

Check out photos of the Californication cast

In Sunday's episode (10/9c, Showtime), Hank will try to do right by Karen and end things with the other women. As the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Fortunately for us, though, the results are quite hilarious. TVGuide.com chatted up all of Hank's ladies to see just how much worse things are going to get for him before they get better. »

6 November 2009 3:23 PM, PST

Before Mad Men's third season, fans wondered when, as in what year, series creator Matthew Weiner would resume the story.

There was reason for the anticipation: In the Season2 finale, Betty (January Jones) revealed to reformed womanizer Don (Jon Hamm) that she was pregnant, and viewers were curious how that would play out. But more significantly, everyone wondered whether or not Weiner would skip over the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of President John F. Kennedy. After all, Weiner said more than a few times that he didn't think he had anything to add to the historical landmark.

But Weiner changed his mind. "My attitude about the assassination changed as I got deeper and deeper into the period and after I wrote the first two seasons," he tells TVGuide.com "I thought it »

6 November 2009 2:05 PM, PST

This week on Project Runway, the final five had to create a design inspired by the J. Paul Getty Museum. But since it's the last challenge before Bryant Park Fashion Week, two designers were eliminated.

Video: Project Runway's Logan explains his "bond" with Carol Hannah

Tension ran high as the designers put all their energy into a final look. As usual, "Meana Irina" made cutting comments and Christopher covered his face with his palms and wept softly.

She was in great spirits when she went in for surgery yesterday. She's resting in a hospital in [New York] and she'll probably be out in a week."

The unexpected surgery forced McClanahan to cancel her appearance at a Nov. 14 tribute event in San Francisco. "My darlings, I'm just devastated that I am going to have to miss my own tribute at the Castro Theatre," McClanahan said in a statement to The Advocate, which first reported her hospitalization. Before the AMC drama wraps up its third season Sunday night (10/9c), Sommer will appear in a ripped-from-the-headlines episode of Law & Order (Friday at 9/8c on NBC). Ratings: Yankees' World Series Clincher Scores for Fox

5 November 2009 2:59 PM, PST

The New York Yankees' World Series clincher against the Philadelphia Phillies led Fox to a Wednesday night prime-time ratings win, according to early Nielsen estimates.

Game 6 coverage averaged 22.3 million viewers and pulled a 7.4 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds, the best numbers for any World Series game since 2004 when the Boston Red Sox ended their 86-year Series drought.

Among the non-sports offerings, CBS cleaned up, but all the network's shows were off their usual marks. Criminal Minds had the most viewers on the night (12 million), followed by CSI: NY (11. 6 million). The New Adventures of Old Christine (7 million viewers) and Gary Unmarried (6.7 million) both outperformed ABC's comedy counterparts ...
