- R. Blakeley Smith is an actor, musician, writer, and director. He grew up making short movies. He also remade scenes from the films Superman, Indiana Jones, Top Gun, Robin Hood, Coming to America, James Bond, Captain Blood, and Dances With Wolves. He grew up playing the guitar, drums, and piano. He was a singer/songwriter at the age of 13 and performed with his rock band, the school concert band, chorus, and jazz band. He grew up playing golf, baseball, hockey, football, basketball, tennis, and lacrosse; he was also a swimmer and ski racer. During High School he auditioned for the school play and landed the lead role. He went on to study acting and film in college receiving an undergraduate scholarship and an ASCAP full scholarship to attend New York University. His Off Broadway debut was at the Theatre Row Theatre on 42nd and Broadway in the production of Beat Cafe. He continues to write, produce, and perform original music.
