In Dark Souls 3, Hidetaka Miyazaki made a bold and unexpected decision to include an essentially useless dragon form, and this has sparked a variety of reactions from the game’s community. On the surface, transforming into a dragon seems amazing, but in Dark Souls 3, that’s not quite the case.
Despite its aesthetically pleasing design, many players consider dragon form to be one of the least practical transformations in the game, a decision that, paradoxically, might be one of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s most ingenious moves.

There are many characters that gamers come across during their journey in Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Elden Ring. However, there are only some that are able to leave a significant impact on the player, including Morgott, a demigod who players wish makes an appearance once again in the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc.

The recent PlayStation State of Play showcased several original titles, with Where Winds Meet being one that stood out to many. While everyone is waiting for Elden Ring’s upcoming Dlc this month, the Soulslike genre is growing at a rapid rate, with new entrants popping up almost every month.
The trailer by Everstone Studio has shown a lot of inspiration from Hidetaka Miyazaki’s genre while adding some new elements, and exciting players who enjoy the Wuxia experience. If the studio can blend the best parts of both genres, we may have a Game of the Year contender on our hands.
Where Winds Meet Looks Like an Amalgamation of Elden Ring and Sekiro Where Winds Meet is going to offer a visceral martial arts experience.
One of the most notable aspects of FromSoftware titles is the desire to push the envelope and introduce new mechanics to every new game.

Incantations in Elden Ring are a returning feature from previous Souls titles, similar to Miracles, but with a few changes. With these, players can cast multiple spells to attack, defend, and enhance, depending on their situation. Incandinations are dependent on Faith stat, and occasionally Intelligence, and Arcane.
The developers have worked hard to balance out the powerful effects of Incantations. However, one YouTuber seems to have found the most overpowered Incantation in Elden Ring, which game director Hidetaka Miyazaki needs to balance before Shadow of the Erdtree‘s release.

Malenia, the Goddess of Rot, is one of the toughest bosses in the game and can carve anyone’s health in just a few strikes. Her signature Waterfowl Dance attack marks instant death for anyone unprepared. What’s worse is that she heals herself with each hit.

Sequels are common in the entertainment industry, often driven by the success of a previous title. And the video game industry is no different. These sequels can range from unnecessary to outright detrimental to the original game’s legacy.
While some manage to surprise with their quality, others fail to capture what made the original game special. Some sequels leave players wondering, “Did we really need this?” Here are five video games that made sequels nobody asked for.

There’s no doubt that the the Armored Core franchise is one of the most revered IPs within the incredibly niche mecha-third-person shooter genre. Its creators, Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware, have given us dozens of entries in the franchise that have managed to capture everyone’s attention. However, there’s a new challenger on the horizon, which is bringing something to the table that Miyazaki has outright failed to do with the Armored Core franchise.
Following the success of the Armored Core series, it was only a matter of time before another developer entered the realm of mech games. The Game Awards 2023 celebrated the debut of Amazing Seasun’s latest title, Mecha Break, which plans to take the mech genre to the next level with a Battle Royale twist. Players have been demanding a Battle Royale mode in the Armored Core series for ages, and someone else did it before Miyazaki and his team!

FromSoftware’s long-running Armored Core series made its highly anticipated return with Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon last year. Thanks to its thrilling gameplay, the mecha-action title quickly became one of FromSoftware’s most successful games.
Owing to the studio’s success in the Soulsborne genre, fans initially assumed that the newest Armored Core entry would be inspired by its action-RPGs of yore, but an IGN interview with director Masaru Yamamura reveals that the notion is only partly true.

Elden Ring‘s highly anticipated Dlc, Shadow of the Erdtree, is right around the corner, and fans are preparing to face all its challenges in earnest. The expansion is, after all, supposed to be the game’s swansong and a culmination of everything From Software has learned over the years.
Some are a little more determined to annihilate Messmer and every other challenge the Dlc main contains than us regular folks. As an example, a Twitch streamer took it upon herself to beat the entire base game until New Game +7 in preparation for the expansion. Talk about dedication.

Gamers are now in a common consensus, agreeing that the recently released story trailer for Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc has turned out to be more confusing than helpful. The 3-minute long video, which gives an insight into the expansion’s storyline, has also caused many theories to spring up, and one of them is how Miquella might not be what he shows himself to be.
A look at Miquella in the Shadow of the Erdtree story trailer
Through the narration in-game and promotional material, the character of Miquella has now been associated with the word “kind“. However, players are now guessing how everything has been an act so far, used as a mask to hide the horrid reality behind everything.

Like any of the other Soulsborne titles, Elden Ring is notorious for its excruciating difficulty curve. Regardless, FromSoftware’s blend of open-world became the studio’s highest-selling game, which dethroned Dark Souls 3 by quite a margin.
One of the most well-known online personalities, Kai Cenat, announced that he will play through the entire Soulsborne lineup from Miyazaki-san’s studio. His fans are almost entirely sure that the streamer will inevitably struggle in one of the most challenging games in the studio’s portfolio.
Despite Success With Elden Ring, Kai Cenat Fans Think That He Will Struggle With Sekiro Sekiro is considered much more complex than titles like Elden RIng.
Elden Ring is easily one of the most popular games and innovative titles in the Soulsborne subgenre but is also the most accessible. Its open-world offering allows players to avoid bosses and even engage in a tactical retreat using their mount.

The Helldivers 2 community once again struggled with completing a Major Order and players abandoning the game could be the reason behind it. As compared to its first month, Helldivers 2 has lost a lot of players. The community believes that Arrowhead Game Studios is setting unrealistic goals, that active players just cannot achieve.
Helldivers 2
This last Major Order ordered the players to kill roughly 3.1 billion enemies and players managed to complete roughly 87% of the goal. Just like the previous Major Order, players tried their best to complete it, but it was just not possible. It seems like Arrowhead has finally realized their mistake as the new Major Order will reward players with a new Exosuit, something which should lure back many players.

FromSoftware’s critically acclaimed action RPG, Elden Ring, is set to receive its first (and only) major expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, in less than a month. With the recently released story trailer offering an extended glimpse into the Dlc, fans have gone into overdrive with the theories.
The trailer shows off more about the expansion’s main antagonist, Messmer the Impaler, but one portion of it hints at a macabre backstory that may have led to the birth of the Erdtree.
The Opening Scene Of The Trailer Is The Prime Suspect

The very beginning of the trailer shows a scene that could reveal the origins of the Erdtree – the towering, central element of the Lands Between. The opening shot shows a figure with long, blond hair potentially sacrificing themselves, among a disturbing environment.

Fans of Elden Ring are having a field day with all their theories and speculations ever since FromSoftware abruptly chose to release a story trailer for the game’s upcoming Dlc. The Helldivers 2 team probably didn’t expect the game to blow up the way that it did on release. Remember, the servers were in shambles the first few weeks simply because they could not handle the sheer amount of people who wanted to try it out themselves.
Ever since then, the community has continued to grow. However, with this kind of audience comes a lot of toxicity that the Arrowhead Game Studios’ ex-ceo, Johan Pilestedt, refuses to stay silent about.

In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Pilestedt spoke about the highs and lows of having such a large community, and how the team is still learning to deal with some of the cons.
With over 12 million copies sold, the game has an overwhelmingly large player base, especially for a company that previously dealt with a much smaller-scale game.

The games of Hidetaka Miyazaki are unique experiences that will take players through not only grand and awe-inspiring locations but also those that embody the sentiments of darkness and decay. His worlds are not ones for the faint of heart, with danger around every corner and death your constant companion.
FromSoftware has mastered the art of creating such worlds, and the studio wears its inspirations on its sleeve. Berserk, one of the most well-known pieces of Japanese media from the mind of Kentaro Miura, is heavily referenced in all of Miyazaki’s games and the same is true for the Dlc.

Elden Ring‘s enormously hyped and massively sized Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc is nearing the end of its long wait, now that it’s just less than a month from release. The latest story trailer tells us a bit more about Messmer the Impaler, the supposed main villain of the expansion.

The recent story trailer for Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree surprised everyone, as an announcement was made just a few hours before the trailer was set to premiere on YouTube. The Shadow of the Erdtree story trailer had a lot of inclusions that would make it a quintessential bit of content from FromSoftware. While labeled a ‘story trailer’, the three-minute and thirteen-second clip has left the community with more questions than clarity.

Jolly cooperation is not new to FromSoftware games. Aside from Sekiro, all of its titles have featured some form of online play. This allows players to join the worlds of others in the game to either help them complete areas and bosses or...

Elden Ring’s upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, has been a bit of a mystery for everyone keeping up with the announcements and interviews. In classic FromSoftware fashion, we have gotten a new story reveal trailer dropped casually on a Tuesday with no preamble or hype.
The trailer itself is typical for FromSoftware. We get a better look at the world we will be exploring, but that only leads to more questions than answers. There are answers for those willing to find them, though, and one of them may have been given away by Hidetaka Miyazaki in a recent interview.
Sites of Grace Might Be Replaced with Miquella’s Marks and Footsteps Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will feature all new mechanics.

Much to everyone’s surprise, the story trailer for Elden Ring‘s first and only planned Dlc, Shadow of the Erdtree, released today out of nowhere. Naturally, FromSoftware fans have started eagerly dissecting every detail in every frame of the trailer.
While it offers a glimpse into the Dlc’s story – centered around demigods Miquella and Messmer the Impaler – a new theory has emerged regarding the potential connection between the expansion and Godwyn the Golden, another demigod whose tragic end domino’d the base game’s events.
The Trailer Shows Miquella At The Beginning, Or Does It?
The trailer alludes to this being Miquella, but it matches Godwyn’s description as well | FromSoftware
In typical FromSoftware fashion, the trailer reveals more about the core conflict of the Dlc, but in a highly confusing, extremely verbose fashion. It shows Miquella (perhaps not) sacrificing himself to confront a fiery threat embodied by Messmer the Impaler.

In the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen the Elden Ring developer FromSoftware dropping a few teases here and there about its upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree Dlc. However, the studio has given us our best look yet at the Dlc since it was first revealed.
Elden Ring’s upcoming Dlc has been a long time coming and anticipated due to FromSoftware’s proven track record with DLCs in its other games, such as Dark Souls. However, one of the most striking aspects of the latest trailer was the revelation of a war much deadlier than The Shattering. This has led to many players in the community questioning why the game’s director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, hid such a crucial piece of the lore, which changes everything we know about the upcoming Elden Ring Dlc.

Cory Barlog remains a monumental figure for those who happen to be fans of the God of War video game series. As expected, the franchise’s lead director had a lot to experience from his time at Sony, and other sources as he once left the studio to go out and learn more out of his comfort zone.
The main cover for God of War: Ragnarok (2022)
Stating in an interview, Barlog reveals how he felt burned out after getting over with the former GoW trilogy, prompting him to take a break from Sony and see what other experience the industry has to offer, which is when he stumbled upon George Miller, changing many things the God of War director knew up until now.
