Mackenna Shults is an American actress from Texas.
She loved performing from a young age. She did theatre all through elementary to high school. She then went on to major in Acting at the University of Oklahoma, where she is still pursuing a degree. While still balancing school she was cast in a staggering 11 short films in one semester.
She will be making her feature film debut in 2024 as the girl boss Barbara Boyd in Jeremy Snead's Matter of Time. She stars opposite Myles Erlick.
Recently she has shot a major feature film called Bloodstained Ivory. For this leading role she took piano lessons for 6 months to prep for the piano scenes. Before this she had no prior experience with piano but dedicated herself to learn.
On stage, her professional theater debut was in 2022, she played Kathryn Schwab in Radium Girls at the Weitzenhoffer Theatre. In 2023 she starred as Macbeth in Mac Beth at the Gilson Lab Theatre.
