Peter Grassi received a Degree in Theater Arts from Santa Clara
University in 1993. His short film, "The View Finder", was accepted
into competition in the New York International Film Festival and was
noted for its imaginative blend of live action and visual effects. He
is the son of noted biblical scholar and writer Joseph A. Grassi. His
mother, Carolyn Grassi, is an award winning Bay Area Poet. He began his
career in acting studying under the Tony award winning actor Ben Vereen
at Fordham Univerity in New York City, appearing in three original
productions at Lincoln Center - including a notable camero in Woody
Allen's play "God." He left New York to enter the field of visual
effects in California and was a Production Assistant on "Interview with
the Vampire" at the onset of his career. Currently, he is completing a
genre bending screenplay which he intends to produce and distribute
independently. He is lives and works in Los Angeles where he is the
Senior Art Recruiter for the video game company Electronic
Arts.
