Paramount+ has picked up the second season of the hit Australian comedy Colin From Accounts. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer return to write, executive produce and star in the new season, which is currently in production in Australia.
The show follows the lives of two flawed and funny people who begin an unconventional romance after being brought together when Ash (Dyer) spontaneously flashes her nipple at Gordon (Brammall), causing him to hit and injure a dog with his car.
In addition to the pair, the cast also stars Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett and Tai Hara as James.
As Deadline revealed in December, Season 2 begins with Ash and Gordon living together and trying to get their beloved, disabled dog back from new owners. Hurbert-Burns said in a recent interview there would be “a journey to see how our heroes get reunited.

Breakout Australia comedy Colin From Accounts is back in production.
An official green light of Season 2 of the hit Binge sitcom came in August, after writers and stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer chose to down their pens in solidarity with WGA strike in the U.S. over the summer.
Exec producer Alison Hurbert-Burns from Binge told Deadline in October production would begin in “coming months,” adding: “As an Australian program it was outside of the strike, but they just felt it was the right thing to do.”
Brammall and Dyer finished the scripts once a deal was struck at the end of September. Production is now back underway across Sydney, with Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios returning the produce.

Last May, three months before Anne Heche (I Know What You Did Last Summer) died in a horrific car crash, we heard that she had just finished working on a horror thriller called Full Ride, co-starring McKaley Miller, who had roles in the Blumhouse genre projects Ma and Into the Dark: Pure, and Dermot Mulroney, who can currently be seen on the big screen in Scream VI. Full Ride has since been re-titled You’re Killing Me, and Quiver Distribution is set to give it a theatrical and digital release this Friday, April 7th. To see if You’re Killing Me is a movie you would like to check out this weekend, take a look at the trailer embedded above.

The California Reparations Task Force has issued its first interim report, a nearly 600-page document that spends a full chapter focusing on the longstanding inequities surrounding the history of arts and entertainment in the United States.
“Throughout American history, the federal government historically deprived Black American artists and innovators of intellectual property rights, copyright protections, and patent protections resulting in intellectual and cultural theft and exploitation,” states the report — which, according to task force Chair Kamilah Moore, is “the most extensive government-issued report on the African-American community since the Kerner...

As soon as Kevin Greene got up to speak, he noticed people walking out. Greene was in Washington D.C., about to begin his presentation on Black music, copyright law, and social justice at the annual conference for the Association of American Law Schools in the mid-2000s, when he saw a group of older IP scholars fleeing the conference room.
“I’ll never forget it. They just stood up and walked out, like they had something better to do,” says Greene, a professor at Los Angeles’ Southwestern Law School.
