Exclusive: Bill Lawrence and his Doozer production company are staying put at Warner Bros. TV with a new rich multi-year overall deal. Under the significant, eight-figure pact, which I hear is for five years, the company has sold a department store comedy to NBC starring and co-written by comedian Brent Morin, who starred on Doozer’s NBC comedy series Undateable.
This is Lawrence’s third consecutive deal at Wbtv where the Scrubs creator has been since 2011 when former NBC head of comedy Jeff Ingold joined him at Doozer. The two will continue to work together.
Co-written by Morin and former Undateable writer Matt Hausfater, the untitled NBC multi-camera comedy centers on Andy Hewitt (Morin) who, in a desperate attempt to prove himself to his family after losing his dream job, has no choice but to take a retail job at the world’s most fashionable department store.
Hausfater executive produces with Lawrence and Ingold.

Italian haunts. This one is heavy on light, Cal-inflected small plates (corn-filled agnolotti with zucchini flowers, sea urchin panna cotta with citrus vinaigrette) and bright design moments like bleached wood and vividly hued Murano glass vases. The Insider’s Dish: When Hewitt first called Drago in November 2011

American socialite Nicky Hilton and actress Bijou Phillips are banned from top Los Angeles restaurant Il Sole forever - according to the eaterie's furious owner. The sister of reality TV star Paris, and wildchild Bully star were dining with friends at the restaurant last week, when they reportedly upset diners with their drunken behavior, which involved Phillips flashing her breasts. Despite Phillips' spokesperson denying she is forbidden from dining at Il Sole again, owner Andy Hewitt has set the record straight with American website Pagesix.Com, adding Hilton was included in the ban. Hewitt fumes, "Phillips and Hilton are banned. I threw them out and they are not coming back." At the weekend Page Six reported a diner as saying, "(Bijou) was drinking a lot and was just out of control. She disrupted the entire restaurant with her obnoxious behavior. She was wearing a purple sheath dress and staggered around flashing patrons her breasts and squeezing them in front of a table of men. Word is that Bijou was told to never return."...
