Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey--coincidently--though never meeting until many years later--the same hometown as producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis--Donn Warr Lewis is best known for his very early work on Twins and A Nightmare On Elm Street 4, as well as later work as property master on the Suzanne DeLaurentiis production, Mutant Man and The Sterling Chase (AKA Graduation Week) and Kimberly (AKA Daddy Who?). He also served as assistant to set decorator Christine Wick (set decorator/assistant/buyer on many M. Night Shyamalan productions) on the Steve Buscemi directed Animal Factory and the critically acclaimed films The Doghouse and A Gentlemen's Game. Besides working on many other film, television and theatrical productions, he was a set dresser for several years at QVC.
More recently, he has turned to writing and has won many awards and for his feature-length screenplays, "You're Sick," Bullied," "Full Moon At Sunrise" and "Fat." These awards include a First Place Win in the Amsterdam Film Festival for "You're Sick," as well as three consecutive California Film Awards and a 2nd Place and "Top Ten" for the horror/romance "Full Moon At Sunrise" in the 2012 Terror Film Festival and Horror Screenplay Contest, respectively.
