- (Summer 1976) Richard Riehle and Anthony Heald, then known as Phil Heald, worked together in Grand Ledge, Michigan, at the Boarshead Theater, a professional theater located in a huge old barn that had been run as a summer theater since the early 1950s when stars like Zasu Pitts toured the summer stock boards. The Boarshead Theater Company was a year round theater company which moved into its permanent winter quarters that fall in Lansing, Michigan, and still exists there today. Anthony (Phil) Heald stayed with the Boarshead for a few more years more before moving on to New York.
