His company, Eurociné, was one of the main source of z-grade movies in
France. Often coproduced with Spain, the Eurociné films were well-known
for their incredibly shoddy production values and have since gained
somewhat of a cult status. The company still exists today managed by
Lesoeur's son, though its activity consists mainly in distributing
films.
