God of War Ragnarok is many things, but one of the game’s best features is its nearly unrivaled cinematic presentation style. Of course, the sequel’s ambitious narrative and storytelling would be nothing without the perfect cast of voice actors to play every character.
Thankfully, Ragnarok features such a cast. While many of the game’s principal characters (and voice actors) are returning from 2018’s God of War, those familiar faces and voices are joined by some fully-realized new characters that help make this game the most epic God of War adventure yet.
Before we dive a bit deeper into all that, you should know that the full God of War: Ragnarok cast is massive. Not only would it be incredibly difficult to list every single voiced character in the game in anything close to a legible format, but we would be spoiling a significant portion of the game...

Late “Glee” star Naya Rivera is voicing the role of Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) in the upcoming animated DC movie “Batman: The Long Halloween,” based on the hit graphic novel. Rivera finished recording her role before she passed away last July.
“Supernatural” veteran Jensen Ackles is voicing Bruce Wayne/Batman in the animated film. Ackles previously voiced Jason Todd aka the Red Hood in 2010’s “Batman: Under the Red Hood.” The animated film is due to be released this spring.

Disney Xd has ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated animated series Marvel’s Spider-Man with a Spring 2020 premiere, according to Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, programming and general manager, Disney Xd. The closest you’ll get to an R-rated Venom movie this month.
Dick Durkin: I don't think this thing thinks it's Satan, I think this thing Is Satan.
Stone: Well Satan is in deep s***!
Venom is one of the most recognizable comic-book villains of all time, but its fair to say he hasn't had a smooth ride on the big screen. Sam Raimi's noted distaste for the character didn't bode well when the studio insisted he include Venom as an antagonist in Spider-Man 3. While using the symbiote as a means to explore Peter Parker's dark side was intriguing, Topher Grace's take on Venom proved majorly disappointing to many. Raimi has since admitted he just didn't get the appeal of the character, and a planned solo movie was scrapped.
Channing Tatum was rumored to be interested in taking on a Venom movie during The Amazing Spider-Man era,...

God of War is a triumphant return to the series, but this isn’t the furious rampage we’ve known before. Unlike the stagnancy growing among other franchises in the genre, God of War has learned to evolve in these past five years, creating a more thoughtful, storytelling-based approach. But it doesn’t just craft one of the most heartfelt father-son stories in years, the game consistently delivers on almost every other area perfectly, while simultaneously holding onto the core of its predecessors and the fantastical nature of what made God of War successful in the first place.
God of War is seemingly absent of its puddle deep, annoying protagonist killing everything that breathes. Instead a roughed, mentally withered Kratos built of experience and stories. As the director, Cory Barlog, said himself, “Kratos was an angry lump of muscle, I made him a struggling father”. However, his roots haven’t been forgotten,...

When Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor drops at the end of September, it will immerse fans of Tolkien’s world within a storyline that centres upon a resurrected ranger named Talion and his spiritual ally, Celebrimbor. Together, they will take players on a voyage through what is touted as a very interesting and well-written narrative, all the while battling Sauron’s evil forces.
It’s this relationship between the ‘living’ hero and his Wraith-like compadre that takes centre stage in the game’s most recent trailer, and by switching the focus back to their two stars, Monolith has pulled the proverbial curtain strings back and allowed disbelief to be suspended for a short period of time. The result is an interesting, but brief, interview with voice actors Troy Baker (Tyrion) and Alastair Duncan (Celebrimbor), during which they analyze and discuss their characters and the game’s general narrative.

It’s sad that many gamers find it surprising when an established franchise takes a quality step into the world of video games, especially since many of these series are full of interactive potential. Luckily, J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series has had many successful releases, including both movie tie-ins and original works that delve deeper into the rich mythology that millions of fans love.
Since Monolith Productions took over work on the intellectual property’s video game license, fans have been anticipating their in-development project, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, which looks to bring a grittier perspective to the archetypal fantasy landscape. As if the talent behind this entry’s plot wasn’t enough to raise some eyebrows (the story is being written by Christian Cantamessa, the mind behind Red Dead Redemption‘s epic tale), Monolith and Warner Bros. EnergyAustralia has created a new brand campaign to promote the integrated brand following the merger between TRUenergy and EnergyAustralia in 2011.
The campaign features a series of tongue in cheek TV ads in which representatives of the utility try to discover how consumers are using electricity.
The campaign will run across TV, online, in press, outdoor and in cinemas. The electricity and gas company has a new logo and brand identity created by Leo Burnett and is a very different look and feel to the previous work created by the agency for the brand’s Olympic swim team sponsorship.

From the 70s to the present, we look back through the sterling work of Rutger Hauer to bring you the actor’s 10 finest films that aren't Blade Runner...
For some, Dutch actor Rutger Hauer will forever be associated with a certain rooftop speech about tears in rain. But although his turn as doomed replicant Roy Batty in Blade Runner was a classic one, Hauer’s output before and since has been stunningly prolific. This list, therefore, is designed to highlight 10 of Hauer’s finest non-Blade Runner movies, with a particular emphasis on those that are lesser known – which is why we've gone for some older pictures rather than the more recent and mainstream, such as Batman Begins. And since this is Den of Geek, expect to find lots of action movies, horror, and low-budget sci-fi in the entries below.
One thing they all have in common, though, irrespective of...
