- When the host of the popular TV show All You Need Is Love disappears the night before the famous Christmas special everyone tries their best to save the show.
- When the Minister of BuZa dies unexpectedly, Maarten Meinema, who has been away from the Netherlands for some time, is brought back to succeed him. His staff doesn't like him very much, because he turns out to be stubborn, blunt and very stubborn. Meanwhile, the ministry is faced with unconventional issues such as murder and manslaughter. To make matters worse, the minister has another, secret problem.
- The minister turns out to be involved in an accident in which someone is seriously injured. Monique and Raoul try to limit the damage, but Raoul finds out that the minister is hiding a big secret. In Santa Luca, two Dutchmen are waiting for their death penalty to be carried out. Maarten Meinema does everything he can to prevent that while he fights with his own demons.
- The pressure on the ministry is increasing, because at any moment two Dutchmen could be executed in Santa Luca. All the newspapers are full of the unfortunate behavior of the minister. The House of Representatives demands tough action and puts the knife to Meinema's throat. Raoul and Monique assist the minister as best as possible on their wedding day. Meanwhile, Maarten Meinema tries to keep his alcohol addiction under control.
- Minister Meinema has played the confidence of both the prime minister and his own party leader and must resign. Much to the chagrin of almost everyone, however, he wants to stay on and travel personally to Santa Luca to save the two Dutchmen from the noose. Every effort is made to avert a political crisis, but Monique and Raoul cannot agree on strategy. The big question is whether Meinema manages to stay off the drink.
- After the dismantling of the drug importing chain in the port of Antwerp, the war between drug criminals breaks out in Brabant. Peter Haag, public prosecutor in Brabant, and Jos Segers, camp resident and drug dealer, in collaboration with Petra Bijens and her Flemish police units, set up a deal to get Gideon Bas, big contractor and an XTC criminal. But Gideon does not let himself get so easily.
- Soof is busy with the reopening of her restaurant, Kasper gets evicted from his house and he causes trouble but he isn't the only one.
- Kasper has trouble finding a place to live, the kids support his view living in their old room under one roof would by ideal for them. Given Soof's team's inability to finish the make-over for the restaurant, which proves more expensive the she can afford, a solution is found: Kasper pays his way back in by doing it all at cost. Influencer Didier Broeckhaes puts the restaurant on the virtual map, but his 'playfull' video montage attracts the wrong kind of customers mostly. Shoe goes lecture him, but finds him plucking a goose apron-only, they bond over 'honest cuisine'. In her absence, a couple from the league of allergy patients passes by, and is served a potentially fatal ingredients as her instructions didn't enable Gerrit's team to work safely.
- While working on the restaurant and his attic home, Kasper is pleasantly surprised to find Soof's friend Josine also versed in handiwork, even a tools expert. They bond over do-it-yourself, which obviously renders Soof ever more jealous, while her love life is going nowhere and nobody believes she'll be able to slaughter and prepare Didier's goose. Mother Hansje discovers the new neighboring shop keeper Mick in a single father and presses him to dinner-date Soof, who wasn't even informed and isn't to the brat daughter's taste at all.
- Kasper is miserable to have been dumped by sex mate Josine for not sharing her child wish, but doesn't give up and gets her to reconsider. The make-over nearing completion, Soof reopens the restaurant, but the plumbing breaks down completely. After the kids tried to flush too many shreds of evidence of poor marks due to Soof's disastrous homework help, the toilet at home is in even worse state, so both flush with a vile stench. Mick allows the customers to his shop, and Kasper's Polish employee Slavick accepts to try a super-strong acid, which works for a while, only to result in an even worse fecal flood. Kasper and Josine fix it finally before resuming their hot make up sex. Daughter Sasha 'volunteer's to step in for choreographer Jim who is late fir an interview, but panics when asked to demonstrate what he taught her, being a hopeless beginner.
- 2017– 42m7.3 (7)TV EpisodeKasper is happy again with Josine. Choreographer Jim is pleased with the interview Sasha gave, rewarding her with a fancy restaurant date. Later she gets insanely jealous learning Soof actually had sex with him on a spa retreat after the fecal reopening disaster. Grandma Hansje's delivery project is gone pear-shaped, so she decides to get out of the food business.
- Kasper gets on ever better with Josine, not just renovating but also in bed, Soof obviously jealous despite their divorce, hence desperate to match his moving on. Soof's date arranged by mother Hansje with neighboring single shopkeeper Mick is a failure, especially due to his hostile brat daughter, but she stubbornly agrees to a follow-up, while delegating the catering of his grand opening to Gerrit. Unable to slaughter the goose, she's relived to find it's a female who lays eggs, so pardoned as 'fellow mother'. *Soof jealously objects to the 'rival' helping the boys with a school assignment, but makes a mess of it herself. After making a spectacle of herself at the opening, Soof realizes the absurdity and agrees to Josine moving in with Kasper, already accepted by the boys and an able study coach unlike herself as the handiwork assignment proves painfully.
